They have a duty to make sure that the dubious loan is either cancelled or used for the intended purpose, and not allow it to go down the drain into the pockets of stomach politicians and their cronies as usual.

Any Tunisian or Burkinabee-syle revolution in this country will have to start from the parliament as it happened in Burkina Faso. Our parliamentarians are so hopeless that the Executive can easily manipulate them to deplete our coffers or even become dictator. If someone hadn't blown the whistle about the GNPC's $700mln dubious loan, the booty could have been shared and squandered without our notice. And our Parliament should have been at the forefront calling for the CEO to resign.

Obviously, Ghanaians are still not hearing the whole story, and we may never know exactly what the money was going to be used for. We believe that GNPC would have hurriedly approached the parliament for approval, if the massaged justification given by the CEO was really true and the company had nothing to hide.

“In the last six years, the NDC has borrowed US$27 billion. Before that, we, the NPP, borrowed a total of US$5.5 billion in eight years. Compare that to the NDC borrowing $27 billion in six years and ask yourself what they have done with all that money,” the running mate to Nana Akufo-Addo said.

He said, though a lot more money has been spent, it is a paradox of economic management that this level of excessive spending has only led to greater hardships being visited on the people.

“NDC inherited a public debt stock of GHS9.5 billion in 2009,” the former Deputy Governor of the central bank said. “Today, Ghana’s debt has gone up to GHS65.7 billion. So when I say the stakes are high I am talking about the destiny of our country, Ghana, the future of the youth.”

“The NDC has been taxing everything, including condoms and cutlasses. In terms of resources, this NDC government has had more resources than any other government. We did not have oil. Yet, Ghanaians know what we did with the limited resources we had. We spent money responsibly to create the NHIS, introduce Capitation Grant, expand access to education, we spent wisely on infrastructure and built more roads than any other government,” he said.

Our experience with the quack neo-communists is that, they seize power unjustifiably through coups and counter coups, and Ghanaians only suffer dictatorship, tyranny, corruption and economic mismanagement under them. Being in power now for six years, the NDC has failed again to improve the economy simply because their fundamentals are wrong. In fact, they don't have what it takes to salvage the sinking economy.

Under normal circumstances, political parties are formed to produce leaders democratically. But in the case of NDC, a tyrant created the party with state power and resources to legitimize his illegitimate regime and cling to power fraudulently. NDC is therefore, an artificial and illegitimate party followed by stomach politicians and sycophants.

Now the coffers are empty and they have to tax the same people they promised to put food on their tables. After promising to put money in their pockets. They are lazy in their thinking to the extent that the only way they can think of making money is to tax the same poor people they came to help. How do you tax people who cannot afford to work because they do not have energy/power to perform their routine work? How do you tax a company that is making losses but not profits? SOMETIMES I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW THESE PEOPLE CAME BY THEIR QUALIFICATIONS. Either their lecturers were fake all they just got their degrees on the fly. Everything economic they have touched on has failed, yet they get paid every month and the poor worker has to face retrenchment. I wish the dumb minister of finance comes back next year to tell us how much the projected revenue from taxes was realized, and we only pay him his salary when we get to the targeted revenue. It is a sad feeling to sometimes think back and call myself a Ghanaian. It is very much shameful as our leaders and planners are pathetic helpless dumb heads. We are so corrupt that what ever we do is simply borne out lies and deceit.

Your party was in power for eight years, that heavens you always claim your party would turn Ghana into could not happen. You are so jealous so much so that your daily activity is to plan against the Mahama administration. You are behaving like a fool and a liar to say what you know is not like that. Continue to do that till the day come, election day,when you would see that Ghanaians are not fools. NPP people in various positions of employment in the civil and the public service, since their court defeat, have turned into maggots in the system. Do you and your party have Ghana at heart or you are only interest to scored childish political point? Your Boss spend several million of cedis to win delegate vote what is the brain behind it? I am more than convince to say that some well inform Ghanaians are tired of the NDC & NPP noise, if you have any prudent idea you put them in the public domain for use to better the Ghana but not NDC or you keep quiet. Having been practicing Constitutional democracy all these while, the time has come for those calling ourselves as educated to understand certain basic operation of this system. It is long overdue to continue to live with the same understanding as we had in 1992. We can only educate those who are unfortunate to be educated if we ourselves understand quite well the operation of this system.
Democracy in Africa is being exploited by politicians because of the high level of illiteracy and ignorance. That is the reason politicians always take the populace for granted. I am not comfortable in this current situation and I wish I have the means to carry out massive education. The NDC in particular finds it very conducive to deal with the rural population because of this limitation. They have used this strategy to their benefit and it is up to the rest of the political organizations to adopt strategies on their own to deal with this seeming advantage.
The Constitution expects even development across the country but unknowing to the rural population, the NDC will always take advantage of the physical infrastructure being put in place to their advantage. Physical infrastructure themselves do not provide ability to meet the individuals commitments. What are the other political parties doing.

The change from the old to new Ghana cedis saw recycling of falsely declared burnt old cedis for new ones. Beneficiaries of this criminal activity were his office and those under BAWUMIA. During the dubious ELECTION PETITION , BAWUMIA as main and only witness cooked , twisted and changed data attempting to support bogus claims of malfeasance during the DECEMBER 2012 NATIONAL ELECTIONS. His irrational and dishonest performance was watched by many from LIVE TV FEEDS directly from the SUPREME COURT. Such shameless , irresponsible and impulsive liar is a curse to the nation. He is just an empty perforated vessel that has no good use for carry water to the thirsty. To Hell With Bawumia and his useless opposition party , NPP
