  The general public still do not know where the new secondary schools being constructed are located.
  
  Nowadays businesses and government organisations have stopped demanding Secondary School Certificate or Basic Education Certificate.
  
  Each of these certificates are important. For example for many tertiary graduates the only certificate that can tell whether one can speak good English or whether one has adequate knowledge of Mathematics is the Secondary School Certificate.
  
  Similarly the only certificate that can tell whether a tertiary graduate has basic knowledge of Ghanaian history, culture, agriculture and the basic geography of West Africa is the Basic Education Certificate.

  Our schools are not knowledgeable base, because we have accepted that we are inferior (Africa) why is it that when your schooling else where outside Africa they let you speak and understand their language before you will be able to school there, but we Africans are rather speaking somebody's tongues in our schools what a shame to us.

  In Tamale college of education a science tutor has abandon the class for over a semester and uptill date has not reported to work. And yet he still draw salaries while s working with an NGOS some where in Upper West Region..
