  If the VVIP staff processed Ms Ametefeh and two other women then, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs should have at least the names of the two other women. Have they passed on those details to the British authorities?
  
  There are more questions than answers on this case. We are watching with interest.

  "The drug barons are currently targeting Ghana making us a vulnerable nation hence we must toughen our national security at all our Airports. If Ms Ametefeh has been allegedly doing such manoeuvres since 2009 goodness knows how many of such people have used this method just because of their status in society as security around such people have been relaxed. No one can be trusted when it comes to such issues any more as our security is at stake. We should not even allow the VVIP section security to be relaxed so that unscrupulous people take advantage of such freedom afforded to them in the wake of this saga".

  Countries train their doctors differently and award different degrees. It is time we started conferring Doctor of Medicine degrees to MBChB students who have performed the necessary research projects as some MBChB awarding countries do.
  
  The current practice where newly inducted doctors called house officers with no experience whatsoever are left to experiment with (attend to) serious medical cases while residents, specialists and consultants are away must be put to a stop immediately. There must be at least one specialist present 24 hours in three shift rotations to supervise them. Our health system as it is presently is not the best. The situation in the countryside and rural communities is even worse.

This is a case where the people involved were passed through VVIP lounge without any of the securities agencies checking them. So where do NACOB erred??

Gbevlo Lartey,single-handedly carried the load, and stood up to those individuals,who cunningly and brazenly sought to undermine the legitimacy of the President and his administration,and how he was unceremoniously shunted to the side,even though his replacement,Kwabena Donkor,by all accounts,seems to be a good choice,who shares the same revolutionary zeal of Gbevlo Lartey, Assasie Gyimah,Akrasi Sarpong and others imbued with a 'praetorian ideology' reminiscent of the 'revolution era'!

  Mr. Gyimah you are correct. Mahama is protecting himself and his brother Ibrahim. The cocaine girl Ametefe is Mahama's girlfriend. He uses his brother Ibrahim as the go-between.
  It was Ibrahim who called Ashitey Armah to allow the girl free rein at the airport.

  The Mahama NDC gov't is very complicit in the illegal drug trade. The NDC drug baroness Nayele Ametefe aka Ruby Mahama aka Ruby Adu-Gyamfi, aka Angel has very strong ties to the NDC gov't and party, and to the Mahama family, and she has been given the free reign and protection as well as unbridled access to use every and any assistance from diplomatic passports to diplomatic official vehicles, as well as state security and state security personnel as well as research officers to facilitate and push the NDC illicit drug trafficking business.
  It would be recalled that, the NDC ex head of security at KIA was busted hauling plane-loads upon plane-loads of psychotropic drugs across the globe, in fueling the NDC global drug trade.
  The governing board of NACOB cannot be dissolved whilst the Executive secretary is still around. Likewise, the governing board cannot be dissolved whilst the Minister of Interior is still at post. The governing board serves as the interface between the interior ministry and thus gov't and the executive secretary which sees to the day to day activities of the agency. The hasty dissolution of the board which was summed up by the Board Chair " He said the decision by the president is to create an “erroneous impression as if the Board had done something untoward.” and the subsequent question that followed, “Could it be a case of sacrificing a weak and innocent lamb to appease an angry and besieged god?” he wondered.
  shows that there's more to the issues, than meets the eye.
  It would be recalled that, the Board chair of NACOB has been a very strong critic of the Mahama NDC gov't about the levels of corruption, looting, thievery and wanton display of opulence by the Mahama NDC gov't and it's appointees, which had served to bury Ghana in the pits of economic despondency.
  What is most certain is that, the Mahama NDC gov't has never had the political will to fight their illicit drug trade, which has been exposed to all and sundry, and it would make for good credibility for the Mahama NDC gov't from all the Ministers and appointees as well as communicators, who would want to reduce this exposed NDC global drug trade in narcotics to partisanship, to take immediate steps to address their own deliberate orchestrated shortcomings to arrest the inimical, disgusting, unacceptable and untenable illicit global drug trade in all manner of psychotropic, psychedelic and narcotic substances, to restore Ghana's badly bruised image and most importantly, address the serious deleterious effects of drug trafficking.
