  I am surprised it has taken this long for Ghana to be banned for age cheating. There were numerous warning signs that this might happen. The real issue starts from the fact that Ghana, like most African countries, still lacks an authentic system of the registration of births and deaths. In the developed world, it is a crime not to register the birth of a child within a specific timeframe from the day of birth. There are also accurate relay of information from the hospitals where a child was born to the local birth registration centre. This way, there cannot be mistakes made as to the time and date a particular child was born. How difficult is that? If this system is perpetrated in Ghana, at least there will exist a watertight, system of accurate registration of births at. Unfortunately, in Ghana, you are as old as you say you are. I have absolutely no doubt that there has been age cheating here. It's a massive shame though
