We need no reminding that IMANI is the new enemy within. They talk the same condescending language to Ghanaians as the British High Commissioner and that is why, of all the more intelligent Ghanaians available, IMANI rather chose Benjamin to come and cast racially patronizing slurs at Ghanaians in the most shameful and undiplomatic manner on their ill-fated 10th anniversary. Perhaps this was the reason why Adom Otchere appeared to be visibly upset after the program.

Just like racism in Europe, this soli matter has been an unresolved issue for ages in Ghana and we do not need a foreigner to come and patronize us about it. It happens everywhere including in the UK where the means of exchange may not necessarily be money but some other favor in kind.

Can anyone imagine a Ghanaian High Commissioner to the UK scolding his hosts about wanton and pervasive racism in the UK and their draconian iron-curtain immigration laws?

'Soli' is not as serious a problem as widespread racism against Africans is in the UK. Neither is it as serious as the un-refunded huge payments for visas that are unreasonably refused without explanation by his Embassy.

Perhaps Benjamin would have better and more favorably projected himself to decent-minded Ghanaians if he had directed his ire on these issues which present a major stumbling block in the people-to-people relations with the UK. We can however forgive him because he is just simply another opinionated white man who is a victim of his own bigoted circumstances.

Now back to IMANI. IMANI also speaks the same language as some of those ultra-right wing racist organizations in Europe who see Africans as nothing more than trained monkeys who must always dance to the white-mans ways and who do not deserve any respect whatsoever from white people. I am glad that more and more Ghanaians are seeing through their game and rejecting them outright.

Since independence, our oppressors have continued to indentify the likes of Ouattara of the Ivory Coast, Morgan Tsangirai of Zimbabwe, Savimbi of Angola, Johnson-Sirleaf of Liberia and many more of this ilk and fed them with massive doses of soli to nurture them to take powerful positions in society so that they rise to assume the like-posture of colonial masters to undermine the true independence, the nationalist and development movement of Africa.

In the same way that some miscreants were trained, financed and directed to illegally overthrow the nationalist govt of ther 1st Republic, likewise, IMANI and that other 'Occupy' Movement affiliate, are all part of a larger plot to entrench neocolonialism in Ghana.

On various national issues, they have abandoned basic rules of engagement by jumping to conclusions without cross checking facts. In the process, they have earned a dubious distinction as nation wreckers......soli is dirty and injurious to the reputation of all media organizations in Ghana....those reporters who thrive on this give and take have to seriously review the ethics of the profession...they are not only doing irreparable damage to their careers but also reinforcing what we all know about Ghanaian reporters....that they are lazy and incompetent....

In my opinion, 90% of the nations journalists are "STOMACH" orientated. Is really sad, but that is the current norm because most of the Media houses are promoting their political affiliation to particular political parties.
