“In the last six years, the NDC has borrowed US$27 billion. Before that, we, the NPP, borrowed a total of US$5.5 billion in eight years. Compare that to the NDC borrowing $27 billion in six years and ask yourself what they have done with all that money,” the running mate to Nana Akufo-Addo said.

He said, though a lot more money has been spent, it is a paradox of economic management that this level of excessive spending has only led to greater hardships being visited on the people.

“NDC inherited a public debt stock of GHS9.5 billion in 2009,” the former Deputy Governor of the central bank said. “Today, Ghana’s debt has gone up to GHS65.7 billion. So when I say the stakes are high I am talking about the destiny of our country, Ghana, the future of the youth.”

“The NDC has been taxing everything, including condoms and cutlasses. In terms of resources, this NDC government has had more resources than any other government. We did not have oil. Yet, Ghanaians know what we did with the limited resources we had. We spent money responsibly to create the NHIS, introduce Capitation Grant, expand access to education, we spent wisely on infrastructure and built more roads than any other government,” he said.

Link the ticket to the license plate, drivers license and transport yard the driver is coming from. Give them 3mths to pay the ticket. FAILURE to do so can the illicit an impound of the car. If after 6mths the driver fails to pay, then sell the vehicle at a police auction.
3. All motorists who receive tickets must have their day in court to dispute the ticket. Based on evidence,.proof. If you can't defend, another 15cedis is automatically applied to the original fine. It's time for city governments to.Learn from others snd govern kumasi, accra etc with dignity and professionalism. What I'm reading here is simply benign stupidity. The regional ministry of transportation, city mayor are failing to use their brains. Idiots! Just becos you are stupid don't mean I should suffer as a civilian.

The data you have at where you live is not in Ghana,up until they have that what you are saying cannot work.
They have a system that is the spot fine that every citizen should respect,you cannot refuse police orders at where you live but in Ghana because of the lawlessness this driver and his passengers succeeded in flouting the police order so the only option left for the police is to tow all of them to the police station to let them know that they have the power but not the lawless people.
We keep supporting lawlessness but will blame authorities for lawlessness in the country.

The police should have locked every single one of them for disorderly conduct.

What if you have encountered an accident in the event ? Ghanaian security services stop this bad attitude and work with the law and for the law. America will not do this kind of nonsense.
