Mr. Mahama is exactly one of the visionless African leaders that have always been accused of misplacing their priorities. Does the NDC government think, despite the massive corruption, they can borrow recklessly and spend their way foolishly into another mandate after 2016, when the nation is over burdened with HIPC and workers wallowing in hunger and over taxed?

Governance under NDC is all about deceit and 'opium of the people'. They enjoy everything under the sun and ask us to wait for our basic needs in heaven. They even didn't respect our intelligence when they asked us to wait for a paradise in three more years after their mandate. The truth is that, everything they promise is a mirage and we will never find comfort with them because; they are conmen with con plans.

The mere fact that Bagabaga College of Education was established in 1944, and was one of the oldest educational institutions in northern Ghana, disproves the myth being peddled around that Nkrumah introduced Education into the North. In fact, Western Education had been introduced into the North long before Kwame Nkrumah became prime-minister of the Gold Coast.

Northern leaders like S.D Dombo, Jato Keleo, B.K Adama, Tolon Naa, Bawumia and many others might have even completed their education and started their careers long before Nkrumah was brought to the Cold Coast from UK to serve as General Secretary of the group fighting for our independence.

I was really disappointed to see Mr. Mahama plying dirty politics by honouring Nkrumah where he shouldn't be honoured because; Kwame Nkrumah didn't have anything to do with BAC. By his action, Mr. Mahama is deliberately perpetuating the myth being peddled around that Nkrumah civilized Northers by introducing Education to them.

Even the much talked about free education that Mr. Mahama himself enjoyed was initiated and put forward by S.D Dombo as a political bargain to accept the unitary state that was proposed by Nkrumah, and not an initiative by Nkrumah to educate and civilize Northern Ghanaians.

You may be right,but what you do not acknowledge is that mostly ,only Children of the affluent parents at the time,attended Secondary School as it was then called (by the way, who changed that to high school and what was the benefit ! ).with some enlightened few whom struggled to educate their Children at that level ,then. It was Osagyefo Dr Prof Kwame Nkrumah's CPP administration Education Drive, which built over 200 Second Circle Schools across the Country to opened the flood-gate to Secondary Education in the Country to Children of the poor and venerable in Society ,with the North enjoying FreeEducation to this day !. Please give Credit where it's due

How many secondary schools were in the North during the years Nkrumah ruled Ghana? Out of the 200 secondary schools you said Nkrumah built, how many of them were built in the North? I think they were not more than two or three for the whole North in his sixteen year's rule.

Moreover, the Free Education you mentioned has nothing to do with Nkrumah's benevolence; It was a political horse trading between the Northern Block led by S.D. Dombo and Nkrumah for the latter to accept Nkrumah's Unitary State proposal. Northners argued that without free education for Northners, they will forever lack behind the shouth, twating the idea of one people one nation under one Unitary state. It will interest you to know that the Northern Block was the biggest group in parliament after CPP before the UP was formed.
