GES banned all forms of corporal punishment in Educational institutions but there are reports that some tertiary institutions are still carrying out this practice. Asking students to kneel down and so on.

Lecturers in tertiary institutions must recognize the fact that students in these institution are adults.

Judges, pastors, teachers, drivers, just about any human being are human beings with human frailties. Smoking wee must be declassified from the list of criminal offences. It therefore makes no sense to jail someone caught with wee anything between 3 to 10 years while the dishonurable parliamentarians smile home with undeserved and unearned salaries and bonuses.
