The mere fact that Bagabaga College of Education was established in 1944, and was one of the oldest educational institutions in northern Ghana, disproves the myth being peddled around that Nkrumah introduced Education into the North. In fact, Western Education had been introduced into the North long before Kwame Nkrumah became prime-minister of the Gold Coast.

Northern leaders like S.D Dombo, Jato Keleo, B.K Adama, Tolon Naa, Bawumia and many others might have even completed their education and started their careers, long before Nkrumah was brought to the Cold Coast from the UK to serve as a General Secretary of the group that was fighting for our independence.

It was, therefore, disappointing to see Mr. Mahama plying dirty politics by honouring Nkrumah where he shouldn't have been honoured at all because; Kwame Nkrumah didn't have anything to do with the establishment of BAC. By his action, Mr. Mahama is deliberately perpetuating the myth that Nkrumah civilized Northers by introducing Education to them.

Even the much talked about free education that Mr. Mahama himself enjoyed was initiated and put forward for adoption by S.D Dombo, as a bargain or political horse trading to accept Nkrumah's unitary state proposal, and not any humanitarian initiative by him to enlighten Northern Ghanaians.

What actually happens to our national revenues from Cocoa, Gold, Diamonds, Bauxite, Iron ore, Manganese, Timber, Cashew, OIL, Debt forgiveness from HIPiC, etc., etc., you damn Mother—F'king Negro? When will you learn to stand on your two feet with all the natural resources that Ghana is blessed with to take care of only 24 million people? China has 1.5 BILLION people but still can take care of them without Gold, Cocoa, Diamonds, Oil and other natural resources like other countries—and come to help your sorrowful ass in Ghana??

By the way, what natural resources do the following countries have, but look at their astronomical development by NOT borrowing? Japan, Germany, France, Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong, etc? They USE their BRAINS to create things in the manufacturing industries and that’s why, you fool. Indeed, Ghana urgently needs some SERIOUS money and financial management, because we can't continue to live on BORROWED funds only to put our children and their children in serious debt.

One major project Kuffour could not finish is the Accra-Kumasi road. We all know that since the NDC took over power, even the mounds of quarried stones and gravels that had been moved to the sites by the NPP government have been allowed to be washed away by rain floods. But no real construction has taken place these past six years. And if they have been borrowing more money just to restore such materials, then it shows their incompetence as a government.
