Yaw the comparison is probably premature. African leaders and its people still continue to depend on the west for handouts and other donations for their existence. Till we break that umblical cord and fashion our own development agenda, and do away with inferiority complex such things will always happen. American president goes to Ghana and school children are lined up along the major avenues in the city from morning to evening welcoming the foreign president. The children grow up thinking that these foreigners are more important and dignified than their own parents and leaders. We should 'emancipate ourselves from mental slavery', the legendry Bob Marley.

Why show tardiness to the most important honor to our farmers just to make time to "see" a foreign Bishop?
