The same about Abedi Pele when he started. If you are saying Andre Ayew is more matured and better then I agree but I think Acheampong can help the black stars when Ayew goes down. Coaches who have a feel for the game wouldn't mind fielding Acheampong. Clueless and whimppy coaches like Akwasi Appiah will never dare. We don't yet know the style of soccer Grant is going to use but if he wants to improve the ball possession and goal threat problems he should bring Acheampong into the team. Right now there is nobody who can take the ball into the 18 of the opponent and I believe Acheampong can do it.

I get the point you are making which is that FA is talented but doesn't deliver. That is because he is trying to do what the coach has told him to do which is cross the ball. That makes the coaches job easy, to match what the coach has drawn on paper. If I am a coach, it is good to have players with talent and give them roles that fit their style and abilities. Some coaches do that very and others suck. I think a lot of European coaches are not using the African players effectively and scare them with the bench. You know, Abedi was talented and he delivered in games because he was stubborn and was therefore allowed to play. I think the Anderlecht coach is not good for FA. Just imagine putting such a fast and skillful player in the back. More over FA is a small player and not cut for defense. My point is that the right coach can make FA, Wakaso or Atsu play much better than they are currently doing.
