  As usual we are being fed and by our "BRIBED" "Scientists" and the GNA the same "LIES" peddled by the GMO companies and the US govt.
  "Dr.-- Dapaah---said there is no credible evidence that GM foods are more harmful than non-GM foods."
  This statement from OUR OWN "Scientist", now a surrogate to foreign govt and corporate interests, is very unfortunate. He and his other surrogate advocates KNOW THAT THE TESTS TO SUPPORT THE ABOVE STATEMENT LAST ONLY 3 MONTHS; AND CONVENIENTLY IGNORE THE MOUNTAIN OF HORRIFYING RESULTS OF TESTS LONGER THAN 3 MONTHS.
  WHY HAVE EU AND SOME ASIAN COUNTRIES REJECTED GMO's? Our "bribed" Scientists, politicians, and GNA IGNORE SUCH FACTS.
  Besides, with the Plant Breeders Bill being rammed down our throats thru' a "Bribed" Parliament, WHO WILL OWN AND CONTROL THESE GM SEEDS?
  WHY ARE EVEN AMERICANS ASKING FOR GMO LABELING IN THEIR FOODS? WHY ARE SOME AERICAN COUNTIES (SUCH AS IN OREGON) REJECTING GMO's

WE NOW KNOW CIGARETTES KILL WORLDWIDE!! FOR A LONG TIME MANUFACTURERS LIED TO THE WORLD "CIGARETTES ARE SAFE". WE NOW KNOW THALIDOMIDE CAN CAUSE BIRTH DEFECTS WORLDWIDE. BOTH PRODUCTS WERE "TESTED". UNFAVOURABLE RESULTS WERE THROWN OUT BY INDUSTRY AND SURROGATE GOVT INSTITUTIONS DURING APPROVAL PROCESSES.
  ALMOST ALL MAN MADE CREATIONS FOR MASS USAGE UNDERGO TESTS THAT SPAN 2, 3, OR 4 TIMES THE DESIGN LIFESPAN. A 3-MONTH TEST ON A MOUSE FOR GMO APPROVAL INTO WORLDWIDE CONSUMPTION IS UNSCIENTIFIC, ARROGANT, AND GREEDY. WE NOW KNOW THE OUTCOME OF SUCH BIASED SCIENCE; THE REST OF THE WORLD IS WAKING UP TO THIS DANGER. AFRICANS IN POSITION OF POWER SHOULD STOP SELLING THEIR RACE FOR PITTANCE AS WAS DONE IN THE PAST.

  GMO Peddlers – Fake Debates and Staged Symposia!
  
  Dear Friends!
  
  On December 8, 2014, Food Sovereignty Ghana, issued a statement warning Ghanaians of attempts by the pro-GM lobby intensifying the campaign to ensure the imposition of GMOs on Ghanaians.
  
  This news item is a vindication of our strategic decision to reject the invitation and help give this fake symposium any semblance of credibility. More of these staged "debates" and so-called "symposia" are going to spring up every now and then funded, of course, by our "development partners". the same type of people who used to be known as "Slave Masters" and later "Colonial Masters". Only their names have changed!

  ... Their goal is not to end poverty but to make themselves richer at the expense of the poor and at the expense of all Ghanaians.
  
  There is no reliable science that supports GMO safety or long term productivity. And there is an ever-increasing body of research that points to enormous dangers and destruction to our health and our environment from GMO crops and related chemicals.
  
  “Accepting or Not Accepting GMOs: Implications for Sustainable Food Production in Ghana” is the DRUSSA symposium title. Keep in mind there is no evidence that GMOs can make any contribution to a sustainable food supply. There are lots of industry claims, but no evidence. Where GMOs are more productive, that effect only lasts 3-5 years. Then the toll exacted by the toxic chemical pesticides and fertilizers begins to reveal its devastation on the land and the crops. To date, all serious studies tell us the only way to sustainable agriculture is with small family farms, a rich diversity of seeds, and inputs that do not poison the land, the air, the water, and all the people, plants, and animals that live there.
  
  Previous fora and symposia sponsored by supporters of the Plant Breeder’ Bill (PBB) and GMOs have excluded or minimized any alternate viewpoints. Farmers have been promised a voice and excluded at the last moment, as has FSG. It will be interesting to see how the DRUSSA symposium handles alternative viewpoints, whether they are treated with equal respect and accommodation.
