There are ways to verify the numbers of vehicles and subsequently cash on an hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly basis. The requisite authorities must go outside and learn. Stop using mediocre, archaic. Methods
  
  
  
  How to stop Corruption
  1. Corruption Sensitivity Training: Educate the executives(attorney general, the judges, public officials, immigration, police officers)about the short, long term effects and impacts of corruption. Corruption Sensitivity Training should be a mandatory part of interview process, class, testing requirement for all ministers and public sector officials. Make them aware of the consequences and have them sign off on this. If judges, police officers, employees are educated and made to understand the explicit and implicit impacts of corruption and how it affects their own salaries, bonuses etc. Things will change!
  2. Enforce the Law: Offenders must face jail time, tickets/fines, sell assets to payback what has been stolen, name and shame offenders in media
  3. Put ethical persons in positions of power,
  4. yearly revenue audits brief

  Our problem is that block headed people always take leadership in politics because they are always talking. But when given a job performance is zero for lack of experience and ideas. Visit the advanced countries and see whether even a pesewa of their tolls goes anywhere.

Why should the same NDC complain? These both operatotrs are doing what NDC top political appointees have been doing to Ghana and Ghanaians-LOOTING, and this will continue until the government is kicked out by fair or foul means, Insha Allah.

  I don't want to sound like condoning wrongdoing but what do you do with huge sums of money collected, Mr. Government Man? Take Accra-Tema Motorway for example. Take a look at the sate of the road and the surroundings (so dirty and weedy). With the huge toll collected, any serious nation could have used just a very small fraction of what is collected to maintain the road far better and even planted nice flowers to beautify that stretch of road and in so doing provide employment to some people in the form of gardening. But this is a SICK country that doesn't even smell its own flatulence.

  Dr Apaak sometimes some of the receipts issued are genuine but not accounted for.What happens is a syndicate is formed and the proceeds from the recepits are shared among auditors, tollbooths workers and the officials who issue out the receipts for the collection of tolls at the booths.Tis is done in addition to the use of false receipts to collect revenues meant to go to the government.This is happening in all the agencies responsible for collecting revenue with receipts-Internal Revenue, CEPS included.And workers and the TUC will turn round to blame the government for not doing enough for the nation and workers.

  Those men hired by Government to manned the booth collaborated with the supervisors as well as the police personnel on duty ,then the machines will be tempered .In this case the machine will not be functioning and will not take record of the money that will be collected .All these money will be going to the pocket of these hired men
  
  secondly ,some also come out with their own receipts whiles the automated machines are not functioning properly and they do this with the help of their supervisors and the police personnel .
  
  I will suggested that ,they should be thorough investigation to arrest those corrupt personnel hired to manned these booth .Mean whiles their remunerations should be increased to avoid temptation of milking Ghana's money
