What should be the minimum requirement when recruiting lecturers into a tertiary institution? Is it a masters degree or a PhD with a course in education??

Professors in tertiary institutions must read GES directives. There are many important and useful GES directives which would help them.

GES banned all forms of corporal punishment in Educational institutions but there are reports that some tertiary institutions are still carrying out this practice. Asking students to kneel down and so on.

Lecturers in tertiary institutions must recognize the fact that students in these institution are adults.

Professors in tertiary institutions must read GES directives. There are many important and useful GES directives which would help them.

You couldn't have been so wrong,HAN.Capitalism is not perfect but it's the best engine of prosperity the world has ever known.There is no other economic system in the history of the world that has elevated people from the abysmal depths of poverty and deprivation than the "proper" pursuit of the tenets of capitalistic principles.What we are doing in Ghana is nothing close to what capitalism is all about.
In the first place,capitalism flourishes within the framework of the rule of law.In Ghana,there is no rule of law but rule of men.Our constitution is a joke and it's violated on the daily basis with no fear of any consequences.So my dear HAN,please don't blame the best economic system ever known to man that has lifted millions of poverty stricken peoples of the world to some level of dignity and better standard of living.

The blackman is stupid. I blame white people who came to Africa to make blacks think they are humans. We are simply NOT humans at the same level as Caucasians or Asians like the Chinese or Japanese. Anyone doubting this should prove why I am wrong. In doing so, prove why you think Africans can do any correctly without outside help. I am talking about black sub-saharan Africa, that is, excluding the Arabs at the North of Africa.

Finally, I exclude Kwame Nkrumah who may have had a different mould, therefore a different mentality.

In as much we must abhor corruption and corrupt acts that should not become the bases for certain individuals to adopt fatalistic and nihilistic tendencies to be preaching doom and gloom at the least instance. even somalia can not be said to be a failed state. what at all is wrong these people who can be found in all our churches and mosques yet cannot bring themselves to speak well about others when in opposition. its all wolf wolf when it got to do with others .....well, as scripture states those who blessed shall be blessed and those who curse let them be at the receiving end of the malevolence they hurl at others..no wonder they claimed they struck oil but ndc came from opposition to be 'enjoying' it simply because God knows whose efforts really made it possible.

• Was the past governments development goals, the military regime, or the present millennium governments development goals, more sustainable to today’s Ghana’s economic growth and public wellbeing?
• Was 1950 and 60’s had better governance, stronger socialism control, or the present government, lacking better governance with democratic control?
From 1968 to present, government persistently living in the same monotonous round of governance; from corruption to corruption, ethnic community to ethnic community, political incompetence to political incompetence etc, and Ghanaians have gain nothing other than having the power to insult the government. When was the last time you went home, Joe? Did you see the shape our roads are in? From Inchaban(through Essipon) to the Anglican church roundabout in Sekondi; and then onwards to the Naval base roundabout.

Did you see the damage those big trucks carrying our minerals to the ports have done to that stretch of road in the absence of the railway system that was dismantled by your corrupt parties in order to allow cronies to use their privately-owned trucks for carting those loads of minerals?
