The government should come out to explain what the money is used for once they came out to declare that honourable Bawumia is delusional with his finding.

It is beating my mind to see Ghanaians supporting even nonsense when all this is leading to the collapse of our dear and beautiful nation. Why can`t we choose to become nationalistic than tribal and partisans?

George, it wont be a big news, if there is a positive intention by the government behind the hide this Eurobond money. Money that can be used for the infrastructural buildings.

What is wrong with the government to tell the nation what the money is used for? If you are clean, you will not hide anything.

Consider your two hundred Ghana Cedis is been taken by someone, who take care of your things for you. What will you say?

“In the last six years, the NDC has borrowed US$27 billion. Before that, we, the NPP, borrowed a total of US$5.5 billion in eight years. Compare that to the NDC borrowing $27 billion in six years and ask yourself what they have done with all that money,” the running mate to Nana Akufo-Addo said.

He said, though a lot more money has been spent, it is a paradox of economic management that this level of excessive spending has only led to greater hardships being visited on the people.

“NDC inherited a public debt stock of GHS9.5 billion in 2009,” the former Deputy Governor of the central bank said. “Today, Ghana’s debt has gone up to GHS65.7 billion. So when I say the stakes are high I am talking about the destiny of our country, Ghana, the future of the youth.”

“The NDC has been taxing everything, including condoms and cutlasses. In terms of resources, this NDC government has had more resources than any other government. We did not have oil. Yet, Ghanaians know what we did with the limited resources we had. We spent money responsibly to create the NHIS, introduce Capitation Grant, expand access to education, we spent wisely on infrastructure and built more roads than any other government,” he said.

Does the NDC government think, despite the massive corruption, they can borrow recklessly and spend their way foolishly into another mandate in 2016, when the nation is over burdened with HIPC and workers wallowing in hunger and over taxed?

Governance under the NDC government is all about deceit and 'opium of the people'. They enjoy everything under the sun but ask us to wait for our basic needs in heaven. And as they ask us to tighten our belts for future betterment, they have already loosened theirs for immediate consumption. Nana is living under the shadows of his father whose action and inactions derailed Ghana on its way to prosperity after independence. His insincerity starts from his demeanour as a truant and drug addict, his educational qualification is very dodgy, and his involvement in the senseless sale of the Nation’s oil rig for peanut with three million dollars pilfering. The whereabouts of the balance is not only thievery but shows gross dishonesty at the highest level. Kofi Koomson of Ghanaian Chronicle has openly opined that “HE CANNOT TRUST GHANA IN THE HANDS OF AKUFFO ADDO” This man is staunch member of the NPP and former friend of Nana Addo. What does he know that Ghanaians don’t know? Why Has Nana Addo Kept Silence over all allegations made against him?

If I were Nana Addo, I would have sue Kofi Koomson for “defamation of character” this is a serious allegation to have been alleged against a person who is vying for a top post in this great land.

Nana’s sources of income did not come from his personal sweat. He is where he is as a result of the booty bequeathed to him by what his father looted from the economy and also the bribe his father took, serving as a traitor to overthrow Dr.Kwame Nkrumah. Now that he has used up all the wealth through dirty campaign and empty litigations, what he thinks of doing is using his demonstration talent to buy the conscience and lobby by using corrupt minds in leadership position in the country; some of them who pose as men of God, to chastise Government and make the country unstable. The tactics of Nana Addo is nothing new to what his father did to Ghanaians. Their sole interest is to make every regime ungovernable by castigating lies, ugly insults, throwing bombs, killing women, burning markets, lengthy shallow litigations in courts and false alarm blowers. What can they boast of themselves and what have they achieved for Ghana? They want Ghanaians to be sub-servants to them whilst in their own thinking and mental deliberations; they remain perpetually slaves to neo colonialism. From his birth he was thought to backbite, destroy, kill and make shameless utterances, bully, join occult and make use of cannabis. If you are a discern citizen, I will entreat you sit up and think, get knowledge and don’t sell your conscience to these reckless generation who don’t care about you than to seek their self interest

Third, what is the accounting methodology used for the governmental accounting spececifically for debt service account. Forth, Is the debt service account be zero balance at the end of the fiscal year? Five, where is the principal portion of the debts transfer to or to make it simple what is the relationship between capital projects account and debt service account. The Editorial board at the New Crusading Guide ought to bow their heads in shame for propaganda that is not worth even kokoase trained journalists. Every debt owed by government to an agency/entity, foreign or domestic, is subject to payment and any monies coming into government coffers cannot be blindly allocated to a project if the government cannot meet other obligations.

Would the guys at the New Crusading Guide suggest government refuse to pay workers for the next 24-months just as long as the Eurobond are earmarked for other projects? The way nations, including civilized industrialized nations, do stimulate national economies is by making sure there is money in the pockets of workers, especially the poor ones, to spend. Expecting government to sit on the Eurobond money just so some in government can steal for private self interest schemes even if the BoG is owed by the national government is a shallow political thinking that is beneath even the worst journalist crowd in Ghana.

Government borrowed the money for some projects and the projects are on going and if it has some left to reduce the economy woes, what's wrong with it? The Finance minister, Seth Terkper and his two deputies must resign, if they have conscience, or be fired immediately, for telling lies to Ghanaians.
Dr. Bawumia was emphatic that the Eurobond had been used by the NDC government to clear debt owed Bank of Ghana, and this incompetent Finance minister, and his two deputies came out clearly to deceive Ghanaians that the Eurobond had been used to finance some government projects. And it turned out finally that Dr. Bawumia was right. And if that is the case then the finance ministers must resign.
If the president fails to fire them, then he would be the worst and the most useless president to have ruled this country Ghana. The presidential gavel must be used to teach the lesson to all and sundry that governance is a serious business, and that truth is a virtue that must be upheld by all in government business.
The NDC government, has lost the authority to govern this country by this dishonest act in the Finance ministry. It is quite patent that the Ghanaian economy is in a mess because it is being managed by incompetent people like Seth Terkper and his deputies.
It is now obvious that all the figures quoted in the 2015 budget read to parliament are in limbo, and Ghanaians must brace themselves up in 2015 for more hardships.
Dr. Bawumia and the NPP must be congratulated for insisting that the Eurobond had been misapplied by this useless and corrupt NDC government. In fact, John Mahama is presiding over an incompetent and corrupt government. Every liar is working for Satan, and must not be entertained at all. Using Eurobond to clear debt is nothing but madness on the part of the Mahama led NDC administration.
What a shame! president Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe was right, that Ghana has not developed well as a country. Of course if people like Jerry Rawlings could hoodwink this country for 19years, and John Mahama is seriously looking for money to rig the 2016 general elections, then how can we develop to our full potential as a country?
