If Otabil has milked his congregation, at least he and his church have been able to build a whole university to ease the problem of admission into higher education in Ghana. In this age when other nations have ceased to be talking about how many toilets they have in public places for convenience, Ghana is still struggling to come to grasps as to how to keep people from open defecation. We need to wake up as a people and learn from other nations to do the right things here too. We need them and those in authority must be held accountable to give us amenities that are conformable to the status of our nation. Kudos to Pastor Otabil and all others who think positively about this dear nation of ours.

Mensah kept records, and any rooster that didn't perform well went into the soup pot and was replaced. That took an awful lot of Mensah's time; so, Mensah got a set of tiny bells and attached them to his roosters.

Mensah bell had a different tone so that Mensah could tell, from a distance, which rooster was performing. Now he could sit on the porch and fill out an efficiency report simply by listening to the bells.

Mensah's favorite rooster was old Black Star. A very fine specimen he was, too. But on this particular morning, Mensah noticed that Black Star's bell had not rung at all!!

Mensah went to investigate. The other roosters were chasing pullets, bells a-ringing! The pullets, hearing the roosters coming, would run for cover.

BUT, to Mensah's amazement, Black Star had his bell in his beak, so it couldn't ring. He'd sneak up on a pullet, do his job and walk on to the next one.

Mensah was so proud of Black Star that he entered him in the county fair. Black Star was an overnight sensation. The judges not only awarded him the No Bell Piece Prize but also the Pulletsurprise.

I did not expect to see that in Ghana's premier airport. I think because of the kinds of 'standards' most people are used to, they assume these to be the same internationally. What exists at the Accra Airport is definitely below international standards, and those in charge should wake up and do the right thing. It is a shame. For once, what works in Ghana may not come close to what works internationally, it is as simple at that, and folks must get used to it. For those in Ghana not used to international travel, the Accra Airport may look great; but my goodness, it is an eyesore in certain areas -- the toilets, etc. My suggestion is that people perhaps need to pay to use those toilets in order to keep them clean from the funds earned from those payments. Before anyone starts giving me their moral fiats, the toilets of the Airport are dirty and indeed stink, those toilets of Accra Airport. What are they going to do about it! I have never seen anything like that. People, wake up, have a life and start implementing international standards. They should go to the VIP Lounge, and the question is, why are the toilets there so clean. People, get used to it, there are two classes of people in the country -- the haves and the haves not, it is that simple.

I love this man, just for the fact the he tell it like it is. Our people including the leadership of the country ALL WANT GOD TO DO EVERYTHING FOR THEM. So the time they have to use to think about solutions to the problems for themselves, family and country, they will be in the 5 days a week, pray 18 hours a day and then go to work and sleep there, be unproductive and got the fucking nerve to ask for RAISE to service they never performed.

Ghanaians it's Graft and Greediness which is killing us, until the laws of the land bite deep irrespective creed or what position you're and people of dubious character
are shunned, like the olden days even children or relatives of ex - convicts have no
friends. Like it's taboo to associate your self to such family, but now such people are accorded the best respect in Ghana, hence
the high rate of crime . With high ascendency of Christianity in Ghanaians, such crimes against the nation, should be things of the past, but now flourishing. Let's ask ourselves why? Those days many term us that we're not born again, crime rate were not as high as now that we say we're redeemed by the blood of Jesus, rather crime is high.
Are we deceiving God or what?
As a nation let's ask ourselves, for no one will move the nation to Paradise we hope for, but ourselves. Let's eschew apathy, graft and greediness and Ghana will be Paradise.
