A simple ARITHMETIC for which most Ghanaians find it difficult to solve. We all love to see the fuel at the pumps at least, cut to 50% of the present value, however, Ghana is paying much more than it receives in return, for the same OIL it sells in the market, in other words, we are instead paying from our pockets for the production of the OIL and getting NOTHING back!
This is happening because, the Ex-President gave Ghana's documentation on the fifty (50) year old Oil exploration work done to the so-called EO Group, and they in return ACTED like the 'brains' behind the exploration, which started long before these two guys were born!
And to make the whole idea more annoying, Wofa Kufuor, did what he does best by accepting the CREDITATION with some Ananse stories behind it, but it didn't take long to have the LIES exposed. That was so beautiful to see KU4 and his partners in crime, altering their 'melody' at the initial Ananse-sem. To this day, the criminals, it's believed have stopped singing their 'passionate' lies.
And we shall never spare Kufuor and his alliances for robbing LYSOL in our eyes. Today, we are paying a higher price at the Petrol Station to make-up for the crimes committed, when the Ex-President passed on the OIL documentation to his partners!

To "add pepper to injury"........ NOT add salt to injury.

It is pepper that make pain from injury worse..... NOT SALT. Some injuries, such as burns, even need salt to treat them.

Earlier this year President Mahama was in Brussels, the EU headquarters, cup in hand asking the European authorities to release the £135 million withhold cash, but nothing came out of it.

Now it has come out that the delay in releasing the money was as a result of corruption, resulting from massive payroll fraud.

Government blamed the Single Spine Pay Policy but it has turned out that over 20% of the names on the payroll are 'ghosts' created by the administration ostensibly to reward party activists.

The all-powerful European Parliament - the legislative arm of the EU - was last week informed about what the Sunday Times described as "potential irregularities and mismanagement" claims which the anti-fraud agency is already probing.

The Sunday Times reports that "according to estimates, more than 1% of Ghana's GDP - several hundred million pounds - was spent on 'ghost workers' last year."

The paper reveals further that estimates put the percentage of fictitious workers at beyond 20% of the workforce.

The potential abuse of EU aid by those at the helm of affairs in Ghana, the newspaper maintains, is an apt indication that UK funds distributed by the Department for International Development (DfID) could suffer a similar fate.

Members of the NPP believe in buy and sell and do not want to produce anything to sell. First of all the price of crude oil in based on how a company hedge it from the producer. Thus when the commodity is selling at 100 Dollars on the world market the hedged price my be 80 Dollars, thus when the price of the hedged item drops to 60 Dollars the buyer still buys it at 80 Dollars. It is why at times the story of the fall in the price of gold from Ghana is also seems not to be true because gold is also hedged, thus the buyer is not buying it at the current world price.
Refined crude oil is being brought into Ghana by private companies, thus to know if the price of the product has reduced, we must ask those who bring the refine products. Private oil distributors recently went on strike saying that the state has not paid them.
We were told that the Tema Oil Refinery was build to refine dirty and cheap crude oil, thus can not refine our clean and expensive crude oil. However I see the matter here like the one in which some Ghanaians, especially in the opposition New Patriotic Party do not want to eat guinea fowl breed in Ghana but will import the same from Holland and eat. Such a person does not care about his son who graduated from the university with a degree in agriculture or chemistry. However he will be the first person to make noise about unemployment.
