There seems to be no sense of shame, remorse or intellectual honesty with card carrying NPP members. Most of the classroom educated but intellectual stooges in the NPP adore ex-president Kufour and consider him what is best about NPP leadership never mind the facts that Kufour is a thief with all the traits of a circus elephant who did his best tricks selling out Ghana to his masters on the cheap. It was under Kufour we had school feeding programme and the NYEP scheme but with no legislative instrument backing their existence, funding or sustainability.
The NPP second best Nana Akufo-Addo, while a fine man, cannot seem to understand linkages between his own record as head of the various department posts he occupied under the Kufour administration. Can Nana Akufo Addo name anyone in government, NPP and or NDC, who has taken bribes in the course of their daily duties? The empty promise from Nana Akufo-Addo that his appointees will not take bribes shows Nana Akufo Addo to be as dishonest as any of the political figures in Ghana. Every thief masquerading as executive officers in the various Civil Servant administrative offices get their bribes via the procurement processes.
The minority leadership in parliament is not only rotten to the core but incapable of putting their collective heads together to find their way out of a brown paper bag because they are deft and stupid to the bone. If NYEP which was initiated under Kufour had the requisite legislative instruments that ensured transparency in its daily operations, the needed oversight agency, GYEEDA would have followed in its footsteps. It is because the NPP went into the gutter to pull a sham to deceive Ghanaians willing to buy a snow job we are here today

NPP is out on an ALL-LIE-BE-LIE campaign of dirty politics. NPP raped GYEEDA before leaving office, yet it shamelessly lays the blame of GYEEDA's headaches on the NDC alone. Both NDC and NPP crooked politicians and crooked government officials are to blame for the struggles at GYEEDA. At least, this President is taking steps to address the rot, but the NPP cannot point to any step taken during it's eight years in office to address corruption at GYEEDA. Ghana, unfortunately, is being inflicted with NPP's false propaganda, with Akufo-Addo deviously smiling in the background. Lies and deceptions will not win the Presidency for the NPP.

Earlier this year President Mahama was in Brussels, the EU headquarters, cup in hand asking the European authorities to release the £135 million withhold cash, but nothing came out of it.
Now it has come out that the delay in releasing the money was as a result of corruption, resulting from massive payroll fraud.
Government blamed the Single Spine Pay Policy but it has turned out that over 20% of the names on the payroll are 'ghosts' created by the administration ostensibly to reward party activists.
The all-powerful European Parliament - the legislative arm of the EU - was last week informed about what the Sunday Times described as "potential irregularities and mismanagement" claims which the anti-fraud agency is already probing.
The Sunday Times reports that "according to estimates, more than 1% of Ghana's GDP - several hundred million pounds - was spent on 'ghost workers' last year."
The paper reveals further that estimates put the percentage of fictitious workers at beyond 20% of the workforce.
The potential abuse of EU aid by those at the helm of affairs in Ghana, the newspaper maintains, is an apt indication that UK funds distributed by the Department for International Development (DfID) could suffer a similar fate.
