If I may ask, is the NDC new party school another communist ideological institution? The Young Pioneers implanted by Nkrumah in our midst did more harm than good to the development of this country when they usurped power from 1972 to 2001.

Our experience with the quack neo-communists is that, they seize power unjustifiably through coups and counter coups, and Ghanaians only suffer dictatorship, tyranny, corruption and economic mismanagement under them. Being in power now for six years, the NDC has failed again to improve the economy simply because their fundamentals are wrong. In fact, they don't have what it takes to salvage the sinking economy.

Under normal circumstances, political parties are formed to produce leaders democratically. But in the case of NDC, a tyrant created the party with state power and resources to legitimize his illegitimate regime and cling to power fraudulently. NDC is therefore, an artificial and illegitimate party followed by stomach politicians and sycophants.

There's no doubt that the President is eager for fame and has an affable disposition that puts interviewers at ease but these don't necessarily project John Mahama to the the high pedestal of transformational leadership and President that Ghana needs and is yearning for at this critical moment of its existence as a sovereign nation pursuing dreams for development and a vibrant and stable economy.Our destiny is in our own hands but we don't have a choice since we are dangling precariously at the edge of the cliff.
This is priceless insider information that we've not been privy to until now but it fits into the public perception of poor leadership at the national front. If Mahama has no grip on NDC leadership then what use is he for the nation at large? This is a vote of no confidence in the leadership of John Mahama by his own NDC colleagues. Hope Ghana is listening.

Making excuses for the President's failure to include the party in his governance makes neither an explanation for his failure nor a justification of it! Rather, it is rubbish! And hogwash! Excuses are no explanations and are no justifications -- and are totally irrelevant!

The problem is not an issue of listening or being able to listen: even the deaf do listen! It's, rather, an issue of acting -- and acting "good"! In other words, the heart of the matter is performance! If the performance that the Chairman of the party, and the party itself, are expecting of the President is for him to integrate, or include, the party in his governance, which he is not doing, then, what that chairman of the party should be doing in response is to confront him on the matter, and not rather make excuses for the President's failure!

If it is true that Dr Kwabena Adjei wants to retain his position as chairman of the party, then, by these utterances of his, he's rather abnegating what he wants! He deserves not to be retained as the chairman of the party if for action he provides excuses! A chairman of a party who can't wield and exercise the authority of his office is not worth retaining!

If the president is abnegating his responsibility of including the party in his governance and, in response, the chairman of the party is abnegating his responsibility of taking him on and demanding action, then, the party doesn't need one of them -- or both of them! For a political party to be led by two people, the leader and the chairman, who are each shirking his responsibility to the party smacks of a conspiracy to weaken the party in its relation to the government! No wonder in the political times we are in now, it's difficult to tell what is NDC from what is not NDC!

And Mahama must be made to understand that very clear. The kind of free ride the President got when Mills died would not be allowed again. You just finish with the congress. If the President wants re-election, then he would have to abide by what the NDC promise the people. Its simple as that.
