When is this evil newspaper going to put stop to its rubbish publications and bring out something necessary for our progress. I can't remember the last time the publishers of this newspaper get rid of court prosecutions including Asiedu Nkatia demand a huge amount from it for publish nonexistent news about him via court.
President Mahama said Ghanaians must wait until the election time to change if they thought he wasn't performing instead of using a coup de tal to overthrow last year. He said this because NPP was asking the military and also former president to get up again and draw a democratic elected president as he did against Dr limam. Inflation recorded it's highest rate in about 5years.
Worker's tier two pension funds vanished and currently, retiring workers do not know where their tier two pension funds which should have been invested to post some very good returns to guarantee some measure of good life after retirement is nowhere to be found.
There was a Senchi Summit to regurgitate what any gov't which has it's wits about it and concerned about serious governance should have at it's fingertips.
It was a year where the Chief Justice had cause to state that, corruption had reached a tipping point.
It was a year where a former National Security Coordinator had to beat a well deserved retreat and state that, corruption had assumed epidemic proportions, after booming previously that if the conditions in the country were too hard, Ghanaians should take their passports and leave, if they couldn't sacrifice.
It was a year in which one of the key institutions of state amongst others tasked and mandated to provide the checks and balances suffered the very actions in which it was supposed to check ie CHRAJ.
It was a year in which Ghana was hit by the worst public health crisis arising from mountains and mountains of filth originating right from the capital, Accra, which spread across the whole country with over 100 deaths and over 12,000 Ghanaians infected.
It was a year in which Ghana's only international airport and the VVIP of section of KIA was officially turned into a den of NDC drug barons, mules and drug kingpins and Queens.
It was a year in which Ghana under the Mahama NDC gov't had to go junketing abroad to look for credibility and confidence to govern and deliver on it's economic mandate, after exhibiting gross incompetence and ineptitude on the back of looting.
It was a year in which some of the biggest mines in the country had to close shop, and lay off a huge chunk of their workers.
It was a year in which a huge chunk of pupil teachers under the GES were let go under very bizarre circumstances.
It was a year in which UTAG, NAGRAT, POTAG and our tertiary institutions had to engage with the Mahama NDC gov't for over 3 months over their book and research allowance.
It was a year in which the health sector ie the GMA, Nurses, Christian Health association of Ghana, the Ghana Chamber of Pharmacy, etc, etc had to engage with the Mahama NDC gov't over a raft of issues further depressing the state of healthcare delivery in the country and the work of the NHIS.
It was the year in which the Mahama NDC gov't was caught cooking and massaging figures in seeking to negotiate a financial and technical bailout with the Bretton Woods institution.
It was a year in which the Mahama NDC gov't was exposed for padding the gov't payroll with NDC footsoldiers across the length and breadth of the country, creating the avenue for looting of taxpayer funds leading to the withholding of budgetary support from the EU.
The dumsor, dumsor which was promised to be a thing of the past and dates given, turned out to be a fiasco, leading to John Mahama promising not to promise again.
It was the year in which the proceeds of the $1billion dollar Eurobond could not be captured in the budget as to what projects the gov't intended to apply the facility.
It was the year in which it was revealed that the Ridge Hospital project had been ballooned by over $150million dollars.
It was the year in which the Mahama NDC gov't came out to deny that it had not promised to build 50SHS's every year beginning in 2013, with the 50SHS's in 2013, still nowhere to be found.
It was the year in which the signature free SHS policy which the Mahama NDC gov't criticized in 2012 as impossible till 2032, fascinatingly and interestingly had a Eureka moment to roll it out in 2015.
The year 2014 which John Mahama promised was going to be a good year did not live to the billing. It was one of the worst, with growth rates projected to slow even further in 2015.
Clearly, Ghana is on autopilot and just going through the motions till a new direction is found in 2016.
With the fundamentals still unchanged and projected to get even worse in 2015, it is the hope of all Ghanaians that, the promise of a respite at the end of 2015 is fulfilled.
However, it must be stated that propaganda has never built a country because the fundamentals at the end of the day would expose the gov't.

I understand he once worked at the Japanese Embassy in Ghana as a communications officer.
Are we not getting the same dose of promises from our so-called latter day prophets, who are always hookwinking people about their "breakthrough". It's the same faith we have about the future that some Ghanaians are ready to postpone improvement in their present living conditions for an unknown future, over which they don't have any control.
Here is a quotation from the Tibetian Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity:
"Man. Because he sacrifies his health to make money. Then he sacrifies money to recuperate his health. I do not think John Mahama is the Moses that Ghana is expecting.
Why would he create a new ministry when the public sector wage bill is our Achilles' Hill and some public servants are nakedly stealing from us?

After failing to fulfill most of his government’s campaign promises and promising not to give assurances anymore, the president is now saying that Ghanaians should wait for the end of 2015 before getting some respite from the harsh economic conditions.
i wish i could collate all the promises of president mahama but i believe his communicators can do that best.but my simple submission is that how can the president say that he was basing his prediction on programmes his government was undertaking as well as an International Monetary Fund (IMF) programme which is expected to take off next year, even though he is reliably informed that an outright fund programme might not be possible in 2015. and also how is his goverment doing to the inflation figure we have now..i rest my case.
