The President in deciding not to respond frontally did actually respond frontally, and insulted Ivor Greenstreet, when he said it's only people with selective myopia which is incurable, that would not see the purported progress made under his gov't, taking a swipe at his(Ivor's) disability(a. selective myopia, b. incurable).
Sam George a communication expert who speaks for the Presidency, also did not spare Ivor Greenstreet, and also insulted him terribly for speaking out against the hardships that has plagued the country, brought on by the crass governance of the Mahama NDC gov't.
Next on the line to add to the mounting heaps of insults was the Majority leader of Parliament, who said Ivor Greenstreet was demon possessed and full of evil spirits, in stating the fact that he together with a greater majority of Ghanaians were suffering from the hardships inflicted by the Mahama NDC gov't.
Meanwhile, the hardships continue to escalate, none of the projects is anywhere to be found, those that should have been ready and functional as promised are nowhere to be found, with the President and his NDC party, still riding high on the "yenti3 obiaaa" philosophy, policy and program into the abyss.
2016 calls for a change and Ghana should not fail.

Just recently your Minority Leader in parliament said the president is either suffering from glaucoma or has cataract on his eyes making it difficult for him to see which a direct insult to people with disability than what anybody in NDC. said in reaction to Greenstreet's comments but either you are ignorant not knowing the meaning of what he said or you support him.
Greenstreet chose a wrong place to make his comment which is unethical and uncivil but NPP people think that will help them to win power but they got it wrong,even their noise about Woyome didn't help them let alone their so called free education.

Ivor Greenstreet said directly to President John Mahama and Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur that: “You don’t care”.

“Nobody is feeling your better Ghana”, Greenstreet shouted when he delivered his party’s solidarity message to the NDC at the congress at the Baba Yara Stadium in the Ashanti regional Captial, Kumasi – stronghold of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).

In the full glare of the President, Vice President, former President Jerry Rawlings, and thousands of leaders and supporters of the NDC, a defiant Greenstreet said: “…Currently nobody, I mean nobody is feeling your better Ghana.”

“Continuous ‘dumsor dumsor,’ corruption from top to bottom, left right inside out, and all the challenges you are facing [are] suffocating the Ghanaian people.”

He added: “We would have thought that perhaps you may have used an occasion like this to discuss policies, programmes and solutions to all the difficulties we are facing as a nation, but no, you chose today to share your Christmas gifts with each other.”

“Ghanaians are not happy at all. This ‘bronya’ is dry. Too too dry,” he told the President, adding: “The most painful thing of all is that you don’t care.”

“NDC continue, we are watching you, Ghana is watching you, do what you want to do, we also know what we’ll come and do…make sure you’ll elect executives who will be able to steer your parties affairs when you are in opposition. Boys abr3.”

The wheelchair-bound Politicians has been called names and criticised by leaders and supporters of the NDC after his bluntness. While Majority Leader Alban Bagbin has said he believed Greenstreet was possessed by some demons, which caused him to be “so emotional”, presidential staffer Sam George wrote on his Facebook wall that: “Ivor Greenstreet apparently needs elevation to see the Better Ghana.”

However, Nkrumah said Greenstreet’s message was crafted by the CPP to capture the mood and mind of the entire country.

I hate to be tribal on all platforms, but this is too much a call for Akans to also sit up and vote well. How can a country with majority of the population being Akans having almost nothing among their executives and still ndc will brand others as tribalistic. If NDC is not tribalistic by this newly voted executives, then someone must tell me who they are. My people from the Western, Eastern, Fanti, Ashanti, Brong Ahafo, Akuapim, Ga etc must be wise in the casting of their votes next time. All Akans must understand that NDC is not for them. If Ndc is for all Ghanaians, then it beats my imagination to see the largest tribe "Akan" to have almost nobody amongst their executives. Asiedu was retained because of his wide mouth else he would have been booted out. But I know he will not survive the next election if he stands. Akans stand up and vote in line of Akans if that is how NDC is doing it. Now no one must be afraid to brand the other as tribalistic because it is now clear that the biggest tribe in population in the nation has been sidelined. It's not surprising to see the Director of Communication for the NPP make ado about nothing with the comments coming from the NDC in response to Greenstreet's statements. First, the NDC loudmouth who made the disparaging comment indirectly referencing Greenstreet's disability came forward and rendered an apology for his unfortunate comment. Why then is Akomea still harping on that comment? Trying to kilk it for all he can since his NPP has no agenda to stand on?

With regard to the cPrsident's statement referring to selective myopia, how can Akomea classify that as being wicked? If that's the wicked cut of all, as Akomea claims, why then spend the bulk of your attacks on the comment from sam george? There's nothing wicked about the President's response to those who criticize his policies; the only wicked act here is the unfortunate attempt of Akomea to paint an ugly picture of the president's comments when there actually is nothing wicked about it. Greenstreet has a right to express himself without being degraded, and the President responded without degrading Greenstreet. Sam George is the culprit here, for he intentionally maligned Greenstreet, and the public's condemnation of Sam George was swift and came from all coorners of the political divide. Let's hope Sam George has learnt a valuable lesson from engaging his mouth before engaging his brain. Akomea is simply putting out his daily dose of NPP false propaganda.
