Chief, I agree with you that a new ministry is not required to deal with the energy crisis. Instead, the President should have sacked the minister for Energy who has failed and is incompetent. All what is required is effective and efficient Energy Minister with one deputy who will be responsible for power generation and distribution. How can there be separate ministries for Energy and Power? Is power not part of Energy? Waste of scarce resources.

The President should have sacked the MD of ECG long time ago also for incompetence. Until Mahama takes on incompetent ministers and heads of public institutions, his presidency will fail abysmally.

A Pastor has a profession backed by some ethics which he shouldn't abuse. Rawlings is a politician and also has some ethics he doesn't have to abuse. If Rawlings castigates Obinim, per the ethics of the profession Obinim and men of God, Obinim can't do same. That's how it is and that's how it will be.

If someone insults a Pastor say "wo maame tw3,", can the pastor reply in the same manner in the pulpit? Of course he cannot. Obinim was wrong. Rawlings also, per his profession as a politician is insulted everyday by his political opponents, something which Obinim doesn't suffer.

He received support from the congregations when needed but he worked as a tent maker!! I remember meeting someone recently who now styled himself an apostle. When I checked this with him, the answer was that he was in the Church business!! Church business ? Since when did the Christian ministry become a commercial business? Women pay money by phone so pastors can pray for them remotely! All of us have access to God by prayers sent through and in the name of Jesus. He is the only mediator between God and man. Let us wake up and stop funding the lavish lifestyles of these bishops, pastors, evangelists, the lot.
