Just like you may know him, one of my friends once got to this same situation at GBC with him. She was part of some Ms. Ghana nonsense where KKD was supposed to be a moderator and they had to meet at GBC for some PR whatever. That was the first case I heard about some of his rape cases, which was swept under the carpet.

Another one also happened in the UK where he was then working as a watchman (security officer) at one of the Tesco shops. There also, it was swept under the carpet.

Sex or the act of copulation is a very powerful instinct in man and the subject cannot be treated lightly in terms of man-made restrictions - especially European ones. Many men - and admittedly less frequently, women have been led to commit murder when their partners have refused them common sex.

Strangely too, it is the under 30s women who are the most aggressive and adventurous types. Perhaps they have lately realized this trait in men as a weakness and therefore something that they exploit to their advantage.

As for men, we were 'created by the Almighty' with an exceptionally, strong and sexually aggressive nature and it doesnt take much for a man to want to have sex at any time anywhere. Those of you who cannot live with the reality of this situation should head to the nearest church and ask God why He created man like this. Much as I do not condone rape, I also do not understand how a full-grown woman who has initially assented to have sex, decides to abandon mission in mid-flight? How is this possible?

Some men really do try, with extreme difficulty, to suppress this 'primitive' but admittedly strong human instinct, but inevitably they fail from time to time. Knowing this, that is why some sensible religions permit men to have more than one wife because they have come to the conscious realization that man cannot live by one woman alone and that such an arrangement, rather ensures more order and peace in the home.

Those silly European laws that we have willy-nilly 'aped' wholesale, just like everything else, and which were drafted mainly by effeminate white homosexuals, that seek to say that a woman can at any time during the heat of sex, shout STOP! thereby compelling the male partner to 'cease' fire and eject, dont half know what they are talking about.

All male living organisms and creatures of nature have this strong sexual trait which when recklessly suppressed, tend to cause unfavorable ripples.

It should be obvious to all that the male species is the more sexually dominant and aggressive other-half, whilst the female, is the more laid back (I dont mean missionary position) partner. It is not for nothing that traditionally, it is men who explicitly suffer the indignities that we sometimes have to go through to 'chase' women.

African women themselves, have not allowed themselves to evolve out of the mindset of totally depending on men for everything including the most intimate toiletries, so it is inevitable that, in that pursuit, they will inevitably be irresponsibly 'banged' around from time to time. This fact also leads some women of Africa today to exploit this weakness in men by increasingly engaging in multiple acts of 'adultery' in various forms just so as to either survive, or, appear to have 'made it' in life by allowing themselves to be showered by extravagant material items. Isnt it a mantra among womankind to seek for and marry wealthy, powerful and dominant physically big tall men? Even on the subject of the act of sex itself, dont (most) women fantasize with pleasure about having painful sex with extraordinarily well endowed men? Why?

The bottom line is that sex is not an important, essential or critical an act for women as it is for men. All this is deeply hinged on human psychology and sociology. Religious and cultural idiosyncrasies also have a big role to play in all this.

Seeing that you are still very young, perhaps some casual reading on the subject (e.g. Sigmund Freud, Masters & Johnson) may help liberate you and other interested women from the staid and frigid European laws that have tended to imprison 'manhood' by playing God with nature.

Do you know the difference between rape and sexual assault? Do you know why the Police are now talking of a charge of a sexual assault instead of rape?

Rape is a first degree felony charge that carries a sentence between 5 to 25 years in prison and not a bailable offense.

Sexual assault is a misdemeanor charge with a maximum six months inprison and is a bailable offense.

Do you know that the two are not strangers and arranged to meet at the hotel for the purpose of sex and this girl is crying rape because her boyfriend is threatening to leave her if she doesn't go through with this with cedi sign as a motivating factor?

Very soon everything will come out and this case will be thrown out because there is another radio personality who is a witness to what happened before the two went to the hotel room.

I always support rape victims especially a young lady like this but my gut feeling and my source very reliable back home in Ghana tells me there was no rape here.

The next twist was that it was consensual BUT it was a teenager. I had images of a 14-16 year old. Again condemnations.

Then finally the girl is 19 but is about KKD's granddaughter's age. Somehow, it appears some people will not rest until they 'get KKD'.

I'm not holding brief for him. If ever he's found guilty of rape, so be it. And I hope he pays the price for that.

But the last time I checked KKD hasn't announced anywhere that he's an Ambassador For Morality. In fact, for those who know KKD, you know the ladies love him...and he loves them right back. Like the proverbial Osebo, if he's 'sitting his somewhere', and you throw yourself at him, he is unlikely to pass up the challenge.

If we should hear today that KKD is marrying a 19 year old, we'll all be oh-ing and ah-ing how romantic it is, who knows where to find love, love knows no age blah blah blah!

First, the man is 'accused' of rape. He's NOT guilty...yet.

Morally by Ghanaian culture standards, it doesn't look right for a man his age to be sleeping with a 19yr old even if it's consensual.

The press should not publish the picture of the alleged victim as that could jeopardise the case. She also has to be medically examined to see if there'd been any foul play (I'm guessing if she liked it that much, there wouldn't be any bruises or tears).

We anxiously await the outcome of this case, but I say this: it should be a warning to all men in Ghana to be ever so mindful about who they decide to sleep with. If married or in a relationship, it's best to stick with your woman ONLY.
