This new revelation about KKD when investigated could lead him into much more opprobrium from raping girls left right and center. I feel very sorry for KKD right now as he was a good DJ in my time when we used to club in Ahenfie-Tadi and the Harbour View.

But there needs to be proper investigations into this matter which should not be circumscribed by any interference by Politicians or out of court settlement to bring out the truth for all of us so that it will deter those who intentionally travel to Ghana to just have SEX.

Social work should work in this case to make children in Ghana see and know what and how the profession can get the Police to keep children safe and confident without having indiscriminate sex with the bent adults. Ghanaian fathers should be helped by the profession to accept that they cannot hope to protect their own daughters whilst destroying/abusing children from poorer families

It will be great disservice if social work in Ghana stays behind the scene in cases like these.

Having said that, both men and women in Ghana should have a revolution in their minds on sex,if there's a Rape in our laws. Both men and women in the Country alike should have a change of attitudes (what/how we think),when it comes to sex. Those of Us who are in the western world has learned a lesson that, because of the "Rape" laws, a Woman is supposed to give in at her will.That is not to say She's "cheap" as majority of the young men back home think or may brand the Woman and for that reason our young Women play hard to get according to tradition. Therefore, it stands to reason that a Woman should prove to the man if She suspect or willing to have a sexual encounter once She entered his room to pave the way to the man for action,and also clear the idea of rape in the mind of the man,if any, to encourage him.The Ghana man should know that it's an offence (rape) to make an attempts to remove the Woman's panties and therefore desist from the practice,whether She's on the bed, standing,sitting or whatever.
In short,the Ghana man's era of trying to help the Woman removed because the man may suspect she felt Shy,is no longer tenable with the word Rape in your mind or at the back your head. Be careful !
One thing I find very strange with the Rape laws in the Country is that,those who drafted the Constitution failed to recommend education in the form of advertising as that Rape laws is in contrast with our Tradition( attitude) to change the trend;how many of them have not ever forcefully removed the panties of a girl/woman before ! The fact she has filed a case against him is proven that she was at least not happy with an aspect of the treatment she went through.

This girl must be given a chance to seek redress. For a man of her level i.e. being a role model to millions of men and young upcoming boys, he should have known better than to stoop so low; very much against national law and tradition. Is this the first time anyway? I suppose not and I pray that Ghanaian social workers study this very carefully and decide how best to support the police in identifying if any, possible incriminating or habitually deviant behaviour of this man on any minor. Truth is this lady is 19 years; though not exactly an illegal case but the age gap makes it difficult to disregard duress.

Additionally, there may be a good environment to establish some sort of premeditated motive, albeit some clandestine manoeuvres to complete a non-consensual act. This being the case, could it not turn out that this guy is habitually deceitful in cohabiting with children most of whom may well be minors? Note that this girl in question is only a shade clear of being a minor and these issues can be notoriously unpredictable.

Bottom line - Ghanaian and African children are too often oversexed by old bastard well before they get into adulthood and oftentimes, the poorest girls are the ultimate victims. I am a married man so I stay away from other women. By my estimation, most women of my age are most probably married anyway. I do my best for my daughters and I don't take any nonsense from any deceptive and manipulative clergy or church men. That tells you in advance that I make my kids aware of these bastards. If my daughters must have friends, they should look their age and if they are not of appropriate ages to do so, I remain one of their best friends. You will never be absolute or firmly put your finger on these things but get these kids to some church + weed the pastor rot/nonsense from their brains.

4)If it's the complaint's word against the defendant that the act did not take place, what evidence is there to ascertain or prove this
5)did the complainant have a prior sexual relationship with KKD
6)Have the complainant and KKD met in the past, just on a friendly or chatty basis
7)This lady obviously was unable to scream or cry for help in the presence of her cousin and KKD's cousin you can imagine being in a similar situation nd how you embarrassed you would have felt to cry out, plus the parties were at a social function and the lady may have thought it wise to just get out and report it, so as not to draw so much attention to her at the scene.
8)who did the lady inform after the act occurred
9)if the lady said no and KKd continued we need to prove that KKD has sex with this lady against her will
