What this idiot doesn't understand is that, there is a debt of over $400mil owed the BDCs and govt is trying to offset this debt by keepin prices a they are. It will be prudent for govt to peg prices as they currently are till Easter. Because world market price of crude will rise again and so if fuel prices are reduced and there is no money to pay the debt, the BDCs won't order for more fuel and so there would be a shortage that will cause long queues. Govt should stand up to this politically motivated bluff.

The hegemonist who control "buy and sell" in this country told us nice stories on how their goods were imported at the time the dollar was 3.7 with the promise that if the stabilized rates remained so for long, process would come down.
We have a national debt due to forex challenges. Well educated people are behaving as if the debt is an NDC or Mahama debt. Who ever manages this economy today or tomorrow would have to pay that debt. It is a Ghanaian debt.
I can bet my life that if the Price of fuel at the pump is reduced, the fares will not come down- in fact NOTHING will come down. The so called Middle class who are using the V6 and V8 cars will save a few coins. The bet will remain and make Ghana worse.
Why are heckling the government and behaving like headless chickens?
