The hard to swallow truth is that Ghana is a failed state. Criminals have turned themselves into pastors, okokmfours, imams, bishops, men of gods, etc and they are now in charge of the administration of Ghana. They have constituted themselves into doctors, lawyers, police, judges, etc. They have filled the void created by the abdication of the state. When Ghanaians are sick they look for a church not the hospital in the community. When they want to divorce they go to their pastors. They pay their taxes (tithes, offertory etc) to the church & mosque. Cases of theft are sent to Kofi Bonsam's palace or the local imam for settlement. The very weak state is shrinking by the day and something must fill the vacuum!

Sidney, they can be seen as silly if they go back to such a church after that experience. It is the members of the churches who have to learn to stop attending such places for worship. Simply!!!

Ignorant people must be educated about the importance of going to the hospital. The information department, TV stations, FM stations, news papers and other media should preach this gospel to our illeterate folks.

Religion is a social myth which has been used as a social control institution to regulate social behavior of the masses. God and heaven are NOT real. Con men and women have capitalized on the ignorance of the masses to establish financial enterprises called churches to profit off the ignorance of the masses. These mushroom churches in Ghana are filled with people who have social issues; the poor, sick, single, separated, divorced women, unemployed etc. These so - called prophets live rich life-styles at the expense of their suffering "flock". They live in well furnished mansions, drive nice cars and fly first class, dress in fashionable suits and fuck the most beautiful women among the "flock". They are criminals operating subtly under the name of God. It is difficult to convince folks that there is no God because they want go to heaven when they die. The truth is that there is no heaven. Try this trick. Go to any church anywhere in the world and ask the congregation "who will like to go to die and go to heaven right now?". Trust me NOBODY will volunteer to die and go to heaven right then and there. Not even the Rev or pastor will volunteer because heaven is not real

The obosom who gives the pastors powers demand some form of abstinence from the followers. The law as it stands is good enough to deal with these sort of things. Assault is a crime. Obimim could have been prosecuted for stomping on that lady's stomach. Any form of coercion is also a crime. The police should be more proactive, they should use their limited resources wisely by prioritising who and what to target. We all know smoking weed is a crime but does it make sense that obinim was not even invited for questioning whilst kwaw kesse was refused bail for weeks. The point is we don't need a loan to improve every aspect of our lives. Common sense does not attract any interest or repayment

It's now an arena infested with devil worshippers who practice the trade of lies and greed. All they care about is their pockets and dicks.
