John is himself the number one thief, so how can he discipline thieves. He has to steal to look after his 23 or so children. Therefore all hands on deck. All appointees must must take whatever they can grab. This man is simply unfit to be president.

Ghana will definitely be better off without John Mahama. The monies being given to our very stupid chiefs is stolen money. it is monies that should go to repair our roads.

Even with ordinary members of staff you might not be aware of another staff member even months or years on assumption of duty unless you perform related functions. Transfer this to a Presidency of a country. Even a person in Human Resource cannot off-hand tell you who is a staff member. It may not sound plausible but that is the reality unless you are in a small organisation.

He said, though a lot more money has been spent, it is a paradox of economic management that this level of excessive spending has only led to greater hardships being visited on the people.

“NDC inherited a public debt stock of GHS9.5 billion in 2009,” the former Deputy Governor of the central bank said. “Today, Ghana’s debt has gone up to GHS65.7 billion. So when I say the stakes are high I am talking about the destiny of our country, Ghana, the future of the youth.”

“The NDC has been taxing everything, including condoms and cutlasses. In terms of resources, this NDC government has had more resources than any other government. We did not have oil. Yet, Ghanaians know what we did with the limited resources we had. We spent money responsibly to create the NHIS, introduce Capitation Grant, expand access to education, we spent wisely on infrastructure and built more roads than any other government,” he said.

The 1992 Constitution is a major setback because it was not written with the sovereign Ghana nation in mind but the protection and aggrandizement of a notorious outlaw, Jeremiah John Rawlings. He had torpedoed the constitution to usher in his long reign of terror and plundering of our assets and resources. How could a man who has no respect for the constitutions be indemnified by the constitution?
The Constituent Assembly that drafted the 1992 Fourth Republican Constitution was made up of hand-picked Rawlings sympathizers and loyalists, some of whom earned their living as butchers and hairdressers at the time. The controversial Indemnity clause we've had to live painfully with was unpopular even among some of the constitution's framers and had to be smuggled surreptitiously into the constitution. There was definitely arm twisting in the political horse trade that saw the insertion of the IC in the 1992 Constitution. That was a travesty of justice,a gross miscarriage of injustice served against the good people of Ghana. The 1992 Constitution endorsed and legitimized the illegitimate, the treasonable act of Rawlings overthrowing the government and constitution of Ghana to which he owed allegiance. The Indemnity of Rawlings that in turn legitimized the formation of the NDC by Rawlings are both illegalities, monumental crimes against the people of Ghana and until both are overturned/reversed there will continue to be a curse hanging on the nation.

I strongly disagree with you all for the way Sam's comment has been twisted to hurt the physically challenged. Sam was speaking English and the use of "elevation" to make Ivor see the good works of NDC was right,and need not be misconstrued to carry a different weight. The fact that Ivor is in a wheel chair does not mean he can't see, so for him to pass that comment means he needs elevation .You don't need to be tall or walk to see the better Ghana Agenda (BGA), so that argument is floored. Sam, some of us the true NDC members are solidly behind you. The NPP is just finding a way to get you out since you are a thorn in their flesh. They just can't match your capabilities. The Mahama administration may have already secured a permanent place in the Guinness Book of Records as the biggest borrowers in the nation's history but with very little to show for the huge indebtedness.
Sam George Nartey has been doing the administration's dirty PR chores for quite a while and this story doing the rounds now may have to be taken with a pinch of salt because someone may be lying through the teeth.
These guys of the present administration are myopic and have no vision for the nation's future; Ghana wahala is causing them sleepless nights and days and the opportunity to dream has become a forlorn hope; Becoming the nouveax riches has also not come without a political price. They can't feel the pain of eating one's supper in the midnight hour in sorrow while waiting for tomorrow;
They're not only dumb but deaf to reason. This might well be the reason behind Mahama's season of romance with "Yentie Obiaa".
