Soldiers dont sleep in flashy and expensive hotels when their are on duty! No soldier is bought by any bigger club to earn fat money after putting his life on line to defend victims! Soldiers dont even negotiat what is due them when going for national assignment! So you cannot compare the military assignment to that of our national team's assignment! The Black Stars get glory and clubs after serving their nation while soldiers may die in assignment and their famillies might never see their corps! Our national team players must rather pay the nation for offering them the chance to sell their talents to the world and the glory and riches they get thereafter! Thanks Seidu!

Ghana cannot go and borrow money to pay footballers who are called to play in order to showcase their talents on the world market! In principle, they, the players must rather pay some amount to the nation when their gain call up to represent the nation, because Ghana is advertising them to bigger clubs! 5000 in my view is still too much!

Asamoah Gyan should shut up. What the deputy sports minister said was a fair comment, and represents the feelings and minds of majority of Ghanaians. Take it or leave it. The other option for the players is that those who are not prepared to accept the offer can pack their baggage and leave camp.
And as a matter of urgency, the FA must tell Avram Grant to prepare a local Black Star team for the next World Cup in 2018. The current Black Stars must play against the local side to justify their inclusion in any future national competition.
Qualification to play for the national team should not be automatic for those plying their football career abroad.
