The amount that was used to fund this project from the Israeli and Dutch gov't's to improve water supply to these listed communities is less than what was doled out to CP as judgment debt under very dubious circumstances.
If we are to add the Woyome loot to the CP loot by the Mahama NDC gov't, it is very clear the water supply situation to more than 3 regions in the country would be solved. Just two Mahama NDC gov't dubious judgment debts should address the water supply situation in 3 regions alone without any funding.
Now, that is why the Mahama NDC gov't would be fired for thieving the national purse/kitty instead of committing taxpayer funds to developing the country.
94million Euros + over 30million dollars to CP and Woyome respectively is a lot of money, a whole lot of money and it's clear the Mahama NDC gov't is not serious about development.

“In the last six years, the NDC has borrowed US$27 billion. Before that, we, the NPP, borrowed a total of US$5.5 billion in eight years. Compare that to the NDC borrowing $27 billion in six years and ask yourself what they have done with all that money,” the running mate to Nana Akufo-Addo said.

He said, though a lot more money has been spent, it is a paradox of economic management that this level of excessive spending has only led to greater hardships being visited on the people.

“NDC inherited a public debt stock of GHS9.5 billion in 2009,” the former Deputy Governor of the central bank said. “Today, Ghana’s debt has gone up to GHS65.7 billion. So when I say the stakes are high I am talking about the destiny of our country, Ghana, the future of the youth.”

“The NDC has been taxing everything, including condoms and cutlasses. In terms of resources, this NDC government has had more resources than any other government. We did not have oil. Yet, Ghanaians know what we did with the limited resources we had. We spent money responsibly to create the NHIS, introduce Capitation Grant, expand access to education, we spent wisely on infrastructure and built more roads than any other government,” he said.

we have volta lake running into the sea and rivers all over the country and could not use as water source but rather invested into desalination plant with higher operational cost.

Israel population is nowhere near Ghana but being a nation that lives in a hostile and a desert area, their leaders are and the people are "hands on". They think ahead of time and come out with anything that may make their lives better. They have people with the brains to put experiment into test and come out with good result. Unlike our leaders who are only thinking about how to "lined their pockets" with money.

Isn't it an insult to send our leaders to Israel for hospital visit and do they have the resources that we have? This is a clear testament that we do not think as humans as the Israelis do. Being humans who will fall sick, they have the hospitals that can take care of their people and those outside their nation. That is how people with brains do. That is how a nation with "elite" do. Their elite do not bask in foolishness by being mere masters of "English" a foreign language. Unlike our so-called educate elite who are fluent in the Queens language but when elected to lead, it is then that they expose their fallibility as being the most useless and pathetic.

Ghanaians should learn and stop being squatters or onlookers. We have travel far enough to stop being useless. We have the resources to undertake any development that our dear nation need or to make the lives of Ghanaians better. Enough of the partisan and tribal nonsense. We are fifty something years and if we cannot work to buy a pair of bathroom slippers, then who are we?

I am throwing a challenge to our leaders to stop their "inward looking attitude" and use our resources in a reasonable manner to alleviate the hardship facing us.
