Ask yourself why southbafrica seems to not be able to well in continental tournaments? The reason why the mark fish, etc went to play in Britain was becos of the exposure they were getting through the media.that alone helped a generation of south African players. Today, how many south African players are in the epl or in the top 5 euro leagues? The lack of ensure to euro leagues is affecting the quality of the South African game. Solution: limit the number of foreign league exposure on tv to about 1game per week but make sure the local game is also being developed and kept.pace with foreign league standards.

Rebranding a game is done at the league level and the team level too. If GFA rebrands and the teams don't do anything, it will not work.
If the teams rebrand and offer us something to look forward to, it could work like south Africa teams did.
The FA job is to ensure they regulate what the market offers in football. One of their regulation is to ensure foreign games are not aired on local free channels to help the local teams.
Football is entertainment and if I can get it free on GTV why go pay for it at a local stadium?

The euro league is highly established and very attractive one. Any business minded country wouldn't allow a foreign competitor with better product to compete on his own turf while its in the process of building and mastering a good product for it self . For instance Ghana will never become a industrial country if it continues to allow obroniwawo/used clothing , used cars and even toothpicks in the country .

Nothing under this sun will make me go watch our league and the stadium even If I was paid to go watch.
Even If the FTA channels don't show it, I and many others will watch else where so think about better ways to promote the league. what u need is patronage of games at the various stadia.
when our players are eager to play like European players, Why waste time looking at a wannabe look-a-like when the realia is next to u.
