If the government has reduced fuel by 10% whey can the union also reduce by 10%? What kind of stupidity is this? Do they want us to suffer and at everybody will is mahama's government. For now I think we have to stop blaming ...

The role being played by the GPRTU in the nation's transport issue calls for attention. It seems to me that union is taking the place of the transport minnistry. This is a private union that was started by some drivres and as they use the Lorry parks as their place of operation, they have asumed a very inappropriate power in all the towns.
Why should the GPRTU agree to a concept of the ministry before it is implemented, mean while they fail to pay the expected dues to the city and town councils. This needs a check from the time they started their operations. The GPRTU behaves as if the Lorry parks are their property and have taken control of it into their hands. Bedise the stipulated transport-fares, they charge arbitirary on logages at their own discretion. In short, I see that union to be cheating the traveling community and this must be stoped with immediate effect. the councils must, as a matter of urgency, find a way to collect the desired dues everyday from the GPRTU they should be punished for failing to do so. The Lorry station is never the property of the GPRTU.

GPRTU is made up of highly indiscipline & disorganized drivers whose activities were highlighted by PNDC during JJ's regime.I don't know why successive govt have relied on them to control our transport sector?Sad indeed

The reduction is worthless. I blame the government and the NPA. Their reluctance to do the right thing at the right time has resulted into this.

Build structures that will prevent people to steal from the government , Tema harbour alone is one of biggest source for government but 70 percent go in a drain yet is ok because those bosses over there lobbying the system, I did like Atta Mills for once when he visited the place and his speech , Ghana need man who are full of wisdom and courageous enough to implement policies that will bring at least 90 percent of gov't revenues into the coffers that help K4 administration , they didn't borrowed much but did well in government
