Because ,the provable evidence and the applicable law do not support / sustain the prosecution to even make arrest to charged him in the first place,and therefore there could not be a Trial.
Again, the pre-independence level of Policing in the Country should be improved; in a situation where one is arrested in a case which is not murder theft etc, before investigations to be sure of the arrest.And not arrests based on reports made.That kind of Ghana Police intimidating arrests,in a true Democratic fashion is a violation of the right and freedom of the individual.
And also,I think some of the laws need to be rewritten and well categorized.For example: (whoever does this commit an offence punishable by 6 months imprisonment). Is it a Felony, Misdemeanor,Aggravated assault or what ! The nation have come so far to be able to improve on the wording and content of those 1890 laws.
