You see we don't have to wait for the P/NDC under Mahama and including the likes of this yesman Alote Jacobs who after becoming so rich and singing praises and insulting the integrity of Ghanaians to run the economy to the ditches before we vote in 2016.
Over here in the West, it is not only the opposition that can call for a vote of no confidence. A ruling party can also call for an election to see if the nation has confidence in whatever policies they are implementing.
Shinto Abe of Japan just did exactly that recently and the Japanese people voted to reaffirm their confidence in him.So if Mahama won't call for a vote for Ghanaians to affirm their confidence in him, why can't the opposition call for a vote of no confidence in his administration if we have this facility in our constitution, the which I know we do.

If within five years South Korea(the NDC government seeks consolation in subjective peer comparison analysis) was able to increase her GDP/capita from $80 to $8000 and now is at over $40000 with meager natural resources,that is something to brag about.Something worthy of praise and emulation.
With a high rate of inflation,high interest rates/high manufacturing costs/dumsor,dumsor/water rationing,a negative balance of payment,high unemployment/high living cost,a wholly inadequate foreign exchange reserve and the prices of cocoa,gold and crude oil shedding tears,and debt servicing headache,John Mahama and the NDC government are nowhere near providing sustainable solutions to our economic predicaments.
Adding the massive corruption and the strengthening US dollar which will most likely destabilize the Cedi because of our almost-depleted foreign currency resources,a rise in US bank rate and a probable renewed tag-of-war between labor and government this year,they are nowhere near anything worthy of praise or the semblance of it.
The overblown IMF bailout will wrought more socioeconomic hardships on Ghanaians in the coming months.
The government should find an innovative way of dealing with the debt owed to the Bulk Oil Companies and reduce the prices of refined petroleum such that it will have a greater impact on inflation and the cost of living and manufacturing.They can do this before the next OPEC meeting expected to take place by midyear.
