This shouldn't call any debate at all, after all, previous gov't has been able to support the GFA in times of need. Except for NDC's mismanagement of the economy and untold corruption, they're finding excuses. NDC gov't wanted to pay our Blacks Stars' bonuses in GHC during the WC-2014 and that sparked off those boycotts or chaos in camp. Now they're shifting blame on innocent people with the setting up of that bogus committe. It's all useless! Mr. Kwasi Nyantakyi and his GFA team can run on it's own without gov't intervention except that it's all become political these days with NDC apparatchiks accusing his and his team. Leave the GFA alone! They've managed affairs at least since 2006 appearing 3X at WC-2006 in Germany to WC-2014 in Brazil. Everybody knows their performance.

The traditional "free for all" spending by the officials is what bothers most.

Does it make any economic sense, albeit any patriotic sense for officials to claim fees as bigger and as equal to the players?

As the writer is suggesting they do, it would relieve the government from economic hardship with much apologies to 'Dumsor' sympathizers.

However, doing so would create an easy channel for a new wave of corruption, not forgetting the over invoicing and under invoicing, the unpopular 'coefficient' theories which KN is capable of doing when there is no check and balances from the government.

By allowing the GFA to be on their own, use own funds by way of private sponsorships, you are creating an easy avenue for the KN led group to spirit, OOPS! nocturnally siphon 'real cash' to furnish their own economic merchandise.

The notion that KN is good, having fearlessly, tactically and consecutively led GBS to the WC and all that jazz, to me, is preposterous, as it is untenable too.
