I'm not being selfish but, what is in it for me? If I live in America and make monthly contributions into the fund, what do I get in return when the funds are used for philantropic projects?

Thanks for your interesting question. GDF philanthropic projects will support mostly local Ghanaians in need. However, some of the funds could be used to set up top quality healthcare centers or hospitals or update the existing hospital infrastructures or school or community development.

Contributors could benefit direct or directly. Direct benefits, if you contribute or donate to the funds and subscribe GDF card, you will enjoy all the benefits and services that are associated with the card.

We need call Ghanaian Diaspora to join us to make Ghana heaven on earth for our future generations. Please join us.

Ghana Diaspora Fund – social investment projects which stimulate entrepreneurship and job creation. . Ghana Green Cross – Non-profit initiatives to support poverty reduction and community development Ghana Diaspora Professionals – Facilitating knowledge and skills transfer to Ghana through Diaspora Experts to impact SMEs and local institutions.

So if you contribute for Social investment projects, you will get return on investment(ROI) as dividends on your capital contributions(shares).

If you join as Diaspora professional and contribute to local SME's, you can act as consult by share your skills or knowledge to impact local businesses. As Ghanaian Diaspora consultant, you can charge a moderate fees as your direct benefits whilst impacting local business and economic growth.

However, there many people that still need support due the state of local
economy and conditions on the ground.

This group is finding solutions to these challenges. How can we in the Diaspora contribute innovatively with sustainable projects that will support poverty reduction through job creation and infrastructure development by adapting with win-win strategy for all?

GDF is striving to provide concrete solutions and calling Ghanaians in the Diaspora to in join hands because we can contribute immensely to support the development of Ghana.

Hi Guys, I'm glad that we have people like you to initiate programs and projects to help our motherland. I would like to know more but just a word of caution: however great the idea is and how efficient its management and operations would be, the inefficient administrative and bureaucratic systems back home will thwart and destroy all the efforts made by the GDF. They hate good things and damn jealous if its coming from Ghanaian diasporans.

Second, Amansan FM radio is too politically bias to be used for this laudable idea. Many listeners are put off by their modus operandi. I sometimes think the station was set up by Akuffo Addo or the NPP.

Third blame PNDC, NDC and NPP for destroying the socio-economic fabric of our beautiful motherland. You and I wouldn’t be talking about helping our dear country with basic things such as hospital beds and others if the country had been handled properly. They are completely useless parties who have destroyed the country. The youth have no future and I pity them. No wonder they take up to armed robbery to survive. What a shame!!
