BECAUSE THE ARE SELECTED BY DCEs AND MPs AS WELL AS MINISTERS AND PRESENTED TO THE HEADQUARTERS PROPER BODY SELECTION IS NOT DONE. IN FACT THE PRESENT IGP DARE NOT REJECT THE LIST PRESENTED OTHERWISE HE WILL LOOSE HIS 2 YEARS CONTRACT AND ALL THE SCHEDULE OFFICERS WOULD BE SENT INTO INTERNAL "EXILE" LIKE MINISTRY OF INTERIOR, GHANA STANDARDS BOARD, BLUE GATE AND THE LIKE.
