Kufuor got a lot of help from Obasanjo when he came to power. He asked for financial help because Ghana needed it urgently and he got it from Obasanjo many times without delay, and that is why they are like brothers up till today.

Kufuor asked for lifting of oil from Nigeria to Ghana on credit, and Obasanjo okayed it without hesitation. He was the president of Nigeria at that time. Obasanjo also donated other things to Ghana on behalf of the govt.

Many things were done for the good of the country, but ignorant and ingrate you wouldn't really care much.
