Yet they have nothing in their head. with money, they fuel the system and get accolades like "legal luminary" when, a deep cursory look at their records shows dumbness. The smart ones are humble and quiet. We find them in our universities lecturing our students and sometimes pop up during high profile cases.

I think this is a tremendous shame. From where I am standing, this poor girl has been traumatized into dropping the case because her identity could not be protected and the social media onslaught was too much for her to withstand. Our media should be more responsible in reporting and respect Media Law. Starr FM in particular have a lot to answer for. The wheels of justice should be allowed to move without fear or favour. I hope we can at least have a proper discussion on rape and re-educate those who think kissing someone or following them to their room or a private place means you are obliged to have sexual intercourse. It DOES NOT! Remember a man can be jailed for raping his wife.

If he had done this in US, he would have been jailed or registered as Sex Offender. He should be careful about his choice of words. If the sex was consensual, why is he saying that he has caused her trauma. Rape is a criminal act against the state. So AG can go ahead and prosecute him. That girl will be the principal witness for the state. If she denies that she wasn't raped, she can be charged for perjury. It seems KKD thinks that he knows a lot but little. I don't know why his lawyers allowed him to issue a statement. Probably, they did not know. He's damn fool.

We respect families intervention in such cases and our courts sometimes even advocates for such things..... Our reasoning is not limited to only Books/Law but also to The Society/Family.
That's why we still have active Traditional/Chieftancy (Courts) in our society/system.
Do they have such things in the US? How many Chiefs do they have?
