  Rural development getting its equity share in .nation development of independent Africa has suffered in warranted neglect.
  
  As african our identity is in our village life. Rural is our home. We can do alot make it better than perceived to be a by white settlers. It's our home!
  
  The unfortunate neglect arises from animal farm leadership mentality. After when we got independent by perpetuating urban bias development just like our colonial master did.
  
  This is counter productive because it has led to migration, slums , over crowding of cities, environmental degradation, health hazard and formed the ocean urban poor who would be off in the village.
  
  Kudos Ghana, better late than never. Hope my country Zambia learn from you.
