President Mahama’s Administration is excellent in taking from the people of the country.The problem now is how the people would see the benefits as payment of taxes should translate to the development of the country.
The people of Cape Three Point have come to realize that persuasion is not yielding the desire result so force must be applied.The fishing expedition has been hampered because of the oil whilst the coconut plantation has been at the verge of destruction due to the St Paul disease.
The people are wallowing in abject poverty and what has broken the camel’s back is that the only borehole that provides them drinking water is faulty and this precious necessity is a problem for them now.Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority has a question to answer when it comes to social responsibility. The GPHA derives so much from the Takoradi and Tema Ports because of the Light House at Cape Three Point. There is light supply to the homes of the workers at the Light House whilst the people of Cape Three Point do not enjoy power supply.
If the water problem is not solved by the Authority,it has been whispered that cars supplying fuel to the Light House would be blocked and thereby hindering the activities of the GPHA and the Nation would suffer the consequences. They are not asking for reinforcement of Police or the Army but the supply of drinking water by repairing their borehole.

They milk the system with impunity, while the poor suffer. Why would the government opt to buy $80,000 plus Land Cruiser for government workers and pay for the petrol in these petrol guzzlers. Even the richest countries don't do that. Government should think of doing away with government housing and vehicles, most of those who qualify for them can definitely afford their own homes and vehicles.

What I found was just 1 washroom stall, and it was so disgusting you won't find this in the washroom of an average high school in Ghana. I had to go to the local departure area to use the washroom there. These loud mouth Politicians have been loud mouthing that Kotoka is the gateway to Africa. They don't really understand what they are talking about. Kotoka airport looks to me like a 1950's facility that they are making cosmetic changes without bringing it up to international standards.

You work, you get paid, you take care of your accommodation, mobility, utilities and your personal communication gadgets and bills. The state cannot continue to take care of "educated" babies.

If just ONE gov't appointee could waste this much, Ghana would see a well equiped hospitals,schools and motorable roads if the waste is nipped in the bud!! What is warped is LIVING OFF THE STATE!!

Just imagine all the money the government will save if it stops providing residency for CEOs of state-owned corporations and government agencies. With the exception of the President and his Vice, no public official should be provided accommodation. It is a complete waste of money and resources - money which could be diverted to build schools, hospitals, and infrastructure.

No one needs official residence to be effective on the job. This useless British system must be done away with. If the government removes all these stupid perks - houseboys and housemaids, garden boy, cooks, house cleaners, etc., I am sure the country will not need the IMF to tell us how to manage our human and natural resources.

Despite all these perks, the black man finds a dubious way to cheat the government. Why, ooh why?

Those residing within the city or areas where their offices are located must continue to live in their own houses and be given some allowances instead. Those having to move from their regular homes to the cities to work must be made to rent on their own and given a calculated travel allowance as if that official is commuting to work from his original place of abode. Such a person could also rent his original place and use that amount to pay his new rent in the city.. Since the government cannot pay the rent for every civil servant, why pay the rent of the selected few? Are these selected few more important than other Ghanaian civil servants?
