Causing confusion burning of properties, parallel this to the women who were killed before 2000. Be wise and see though them. Do not give them the chance in so far as they do not show sign of coorperating with Mahama to complete his mandate. you all seem to be happy with with the nonesense and shit going on in the country. if a few folks continue to lavish from state coffers while the average individuals are peddling apples, dog-chains, iced water and the like under the sweltering heat, with mothers doing this with babies tied to their backs, bretheren can we go on like this and for how long? huge sums of cash from the state are been disbursed for personal gains. acts like this is what led to the french revolution, the great depression and the subsequent industrial revolution. these countries underwent successful revolutions which led to successful economies lasting up to date. such revos demand very loyal cross section of the society. punishment for crime becomes swift and the govt becomes fixated on beterring the standard of living. the U S of A, the french and others did this with swift industrial drive. if not, ghana and africa in general will remain as it is for eons and i dont believe we all will love that. what is going on now, with a party coming to power for eight yrs for the gains of it's members will never help but just a few folks will always enjoy. China did the same and they are still been ruled with some sort of iron fist and look where they are now! Certain crimes dont even warrant a trial, just straight punishment. a govt staff, for instance, can never bill the state arbitrarily just because their homes are being renovated and that they are residing in a hotel while some poor school kids are under a tree where there are not even chalks for the teachers to use. we are running a very pathetic style of govt and only a revolution, once again led by very loyal cross section of the masses, can salvage this country of ours. those who dont believe theories like this are either in the govt or are waiting to take up a position should their party win power. so sad, so so sad to see where ghana is after all these yrs of so called independence, i dont know how independent can one be when they still rely on slave master for virtualy their daily bread. lets rise up now or no one else will for us. peace out!

Bad as the military govt can be, majority of ghanaians have the same ill sentiments they had before JJ came to power - PNDC. When people called JJ, Junior Jesus. Believing he had come to clean up the mess and save the country. Unfortunately things did not turn out the way we had hoped for.
I will rather call for 'vote of no confidence' or civil disobedience to oust the govt and bring the corrupt politicians to book.
There must be some deterrent for those who steal from the state coffers . If they know they will never get away with the booty or they will surely be held accountable some day, they will be careful.

We have come to realize that corruption is enjoyed by both civilians and soldiers. Canines both. They like meat, both foxes and wolves. The difference is that the wolves fart in our faces while eating us alive; soldiers impose themselves on us, when they seize power, oppress us, and we have no civilized means of getting rid of them. But the foxy civilians, we put them in power, and if belatedly we realize our mistake in placing them there, we can remove them with our hands. Agreed, it becomes more difficult to remove the latter when they use the former to buttress their corrupt interests. But even here, citizens may pick up spikes, hoes, cutlasses, and tree branches and get rid of both, chanting "liberte, transparence, responsabilite". Yes, even the armed robbers with their guns will be welcomed into this populist uprising movement

Effa, I am afraid you have not changed from our days in Legon. You have overly harboured the ambition of becoming the President of Ghana someday and the military route was the easiest for you - thus you signed up for it and even tried a coup before but you got arrested. You only are the one pregnant with coup D'etats. You are a smart guy and so you temporarily abandoned the military route and went to law school to become a lawyer and later a politician. When Effa Dartey speaks of a coup he's not speaking for any political party but himself. But understand that military regimes are no better than civilian regimes. You and our experience with them is an eye-opener for all of us. If allowed military a military regime will turn the country back for another 20 years. Ghana doesn't need any maverick military officer as our saviour or redeemer. Those days have come and gone and will never be repeated in Ghana. We must stand for democracy despite some of its shortcomings. It's much better than being subjected under naive and reckless military regimes. Oh yes but there is a new "coup" and that is the Power of the Ballot Box. Ghanaians must not be afraid to vote out corrupt, greedy, insensitive, incompetent and under-performing politicians from any party and replace them with real and transparent God fearing and competent politicians. Please do not sell your duty to vote correctly by the loaves of bread, a kilo of salt and the GHC 5 that shameless politicians will dole out to you during electioneering campaigns. Resist such politicians. Do not let them tempt you with tribal sentiments, such as we have them in our bank and all that nonsense to sway you away from voting right. Please vote with your conscience and let us for once get the right people to take the affairs of Ghana and rule with dignity, honesty, respect for citizens and their issues and get us out of the problems that politicians from Nkrumah's time to date have created for our dear country. Arise the Masses and the People of Ghana and take your rightful places in our Democratic dispensation.

Captain Effah-Dartey is one personality i respect and hold in high esteem when it comes to moral test.He is a principled and honest man who is also a true Nationalist and a patriotic citizen.Rather a nice coincidence Rtd Captain Lawyer Effah-Dartey was a key member of the revolution during the days of the AFRC/PNDC.There are politicians i like and trust who speak the truth devoid of scoring cheap political points targeted at personal gratification.Without doubt Alban Bagbin is noticeably a great example.A true statesman is somebody interested in national discourse in the interest of his country.In this regard the Captain like it or not is absolutely right though one does not pray for a coup regarding the devastating effects of civil wars in some African Countries when coups or civil uprising degenerate.Nevertheless one cannot underestimate the tremendous role the AFRC/PNDC played in cleansing the country of anarchy,moral decadence and chaos to stabilize it as peaceful state paving the way for transition into a vibrant democratic state.It is far more better to criticize sometimes destructive and insulting with even the current president and ex-presidents not spared than resort to guns when it comes to national discourse.But what was the genesis of the AFRC/PNDC revolutions or best revolutions in general?The principle triggering factor is wanton corruption and naked opulence in the eyes of the suffering masses who often feel the pain of cheating when it comes to sharing the national cake.This irresistible emotional outrage when persistently unchecked then invariably lead to arms race.I have said before that there are too many 'armed robbers' and thieves in our public institutions who unlike the conventional armed robbers use pens instead of guns to rob us then openly display the stolen goodies much to our chagrin.They are termed white collar criminals.Majority are usually the lazy ones who defraud the state and hard working tax paying Ghanaian.The corruption industry from my experience with the Ghana Health Service when i was fraudulently implicated with a mental illness and sacked to cover heinous acts of corruption in fact criminal in nature is huge,well organized,complex involving very top civil servants and politicians who link up for mutual benefits.Very difficult to deal with because institutions supposed to expose and punish corruption like the media,police and judiciary have been entangled and tainted with stolen money and wealth in complex network of mafia.They literally draw you in to extend the chain of corruption.When you resist or attempt resisting they find ways of eliminating you either physically,mentally or emotionally.When my Medical Director at Effia Nkwanta pledged to get me sacked from the Ghana Health Service because he thought i was a threat to a corrupt management illegally enriching themselves to the detriment of patients dying haplessly ,he knew what he was about.He first dismissed me at the level of the regional hospital following a media report on a teenager who died because of bribe of a paltry 50 ghana cedis they could not illegally afford for blood transfusion.I took my case to CHRAJ realizing he ganged up with an equally corrupt regional Director,Linda Vanotoo to victimize me and won the case compelling him to reinstate me.He was also forced to produce a copy of a mental report that was not in his favor he has been hiding from me when he forced me to go for a psychiatric assessment in an attempt to destroy me.Dr Paul Kwaw Ntodi was obviously paranoid by my reinstatement because of his own iniquities. Dr.Paul K. Ntodi then pledged he will get me sacked from GHS if i don't leave Effia Nkwanta according to a management member.Immediately after the 2012 election with a new Director General Dr.Ebenezah Appiah Denkyira his plan was to blossom.A letter immediately signed by the chief psychiatrist Dr A kwasi Osei was copied to the new DG Ebenezer Appiah Denkyira and then Minister of Health Alban Bagbin was received from Richard Anthony who tracked me down to Accra with the letter.Richard Anthony then my HOD who was also the one escorting me round from one psychiatric institution to the other in an attempt to implicate me with a mental illness boldly told me to accept what ever was in the letter or else i will be dismissed never to be reinstated.It was clearly obvious there was a grand conspiracy to victimize me with a mental illness based on which i will be rusticated from service.I fought back by resisting the Medical Board orchestrated by the Akwasi Osei on behalf of the hierarchy of GHS by making reference to a report clearing me as having no mental illness and charging authorities to be fair in their dealings with me devoid of prejudice.I also made reference to both documentary and pictorial evidence of atrocities against me by Dr.Ntodi at the office of the Human Resource Director,GHS.The Director General Ebenezer Appiah Denkyira ignored all these and technically sacked me with an indefinite suspension with a letter interestingly but once again copied to Alban Bagbin as the Health Minster without the audience of even offering me a listening ear when he deliberately evaded me.My crime was that i have refused to come for compulsory assessment and treatment for a possible delusional disorder.The GHS Medical Board orchestrated and headed by the Chief Psychiatrist came out with this fantastic diagnosis based on which i was sacked without evidence as they never met me.When i took my case to the fast track high court more events were to unfold.These included two attempts at my life by first inundating my fuel tank with salt at Effia Nkwanta hospital that actually damaged my car engine when i traveled and left behind my car at my residence.The second one was when my vehicle Knots were deliberately slacked an replaced in Accra.I was traveling to Takoradi when the tires at the driver's site came off.I also suffered series of orchestrated verbal and physical abuse and attacks sometimes receiving direct death threats on my phone.Series of letters personally submitted to the IGP and the PRO at police headquarters requesting police inquiry into my case were met with loud silence. When my Lawyer Isaac Adu whom i hired and paid without a job insulted me on behalf of authorities in Ghana Health Service by telling me they told him i am 'loud mouth' and they have been looking for me for years there i realized the corruption industry in this country is not a farce at all.When Alban Bagbin called me at parliament house and told me to consider moving to the private sector oblivious of salary arrears and promotions withheld for years in an attempt to punish me besides denting my image with a mental illness, i raised eyebrows.Truth said, corruption in Ghana has been institutionalized decades past way before Mahama ascension as president.Corruption gained roots when the fierce days of AFRC/PNDC military rule paved way for democratic transition.My impression is that high profile public officials and politicians are deeply involved based on my experience with the Ghana Health Service.Selective Justice in the interest of the powerful and wealthy because of their links is our bane as a country.That is why we see the unfortunate poor who genuinely is compelled to steal a goat under duress of hunger be given 7 years sentence whiles white collar criminals who loot the nation of millions of cedis that will have otherwise prevented a hungry man from stealing a goat subverting justice with his stolen wealth that makes him such a powerful figure sometimes intelligently under the cover of politics since we like politicizing issues of national interest .Corruption can only be fought from the top and it requires not just will and commitment by top politicians but by top public/civil servants who encourage it because they benefit from it.For sure the few reported cases in my view is just the tip of the iceberg.Interestingly enough Dr. Paul K.Ntodi labelled me as NDC and Rawlings boy who have been reporting him to bigwigs in Accra with some lawyers surprisingly convincing me to drop the case in court because of the political connotations.Outrageous and ridiculous!As far as i am concerned this is a civil case bothering on violation of human rights that i will pursue vigorously with all alacrity if it means losing my life.
