We have been in this country when the uncompleted extension of the runway of Kumasi Regional Airport has been described by the Mahama NDC gov't as an ultra modern international airport comparable to any international airport in the US, Germany, France, UK, Holland, China, Hong Kong, etc, etc. So what does the Mahama NDC gov't means by an ultra modern Kumasi central market because Ghanaians have had it with mediocre leadership and propaganda.

What's wrong with going to beg for funds if you don't have? I think we are all seeing the fall in the oil market and since our budget was drawn with the old oil market price there is a short fall. How do we get the funds to square the budget? Fools who don't have anything to say. They have now become a laughing stock if they care to know. They also say the fly overs being built are not necessary because people are hungry. Meanwhile they call ministers to the floor of parliament to ask why some of their roads are not fixed. Interesting fools.

Mahama meets EU's Barroso on 2 April 2014.
President John Dramani Mahama has held discussions in Brussels with the President of the European Commission, Mr. Jose Manuel Barroso, aimed at deepening relations between Ghana and the European Union.

President Mahama urged the EU to disburse a 64 million Euros multi-donor budget support to Ghana, which has been held back because of some fiscal policy issues. Mr. Barosso in his response said the EU will continue to strengthen its relations with Ghana, and called for a sustained effort to address the country’s short-term fiscal challenges.

Mr. Barroso congratulated President Mahama on his election as the Chair of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), noting that this election is good news for West Africa and for the sub-region's relations with the EU. The two leaders discussed the Economic Partnership Agreement being negotiated between the EU and ECOWAS, with President Mahama calling on the European Commission to show flexibility so that trade is not disrupted between Ghana or West Africa and Europe, in the interim.

President Mahama and Mr. Barroso also discussed the situation in Mali and EU support in consolidating peace in that country. They further exchanged views on the upcoming elections in Guinea-Bissau.

It's true that President Mahama met EU President and urged him to lease 64 million euro's Ghana as EU's pledge. It's sad and immature for a senior member of NPP, who has held finance minister position before to talk stupid like that. President Kufour on 4 occasions spent Ghana money on scam loans,yet you call him a hero. NPP people should be send back to school because they are too stupid and inward looking. If it's not their way, it's nobody's. They did so to make jeopardize Dr Nkrumah's rule for Ghana ungovernable. I don't know why people still think Mr Agyarko, Obiri Boahen and the like are wisemen.

May I remind Dr. Akoto Osei that under the mighty John Agyeman Kufour Ghana was officially declared a beggar nation and Kufour and the NPP establishment were too glad to carry their tin cup trotting the globe begging for money and or forgiveness of Ghana's debts.
But the classroom educated but intellectually frail Akoto Osei with typical Ghanaian tribal trait of selective amnesia see some glory with a begging Kufour over a begging Mahama because Kufour wore his self earned gold chain medallion around his neck while begging as opposed to Mahama u begging in traditional Ghana costume.
This is why Ghana thrives in a sorry state because our educated best seem not to make the mark of logical process thinkers.
