The IMF should pump some sense into the heads of those leading us that, a small nation like Ghana should not have that number of MPs. Even our ministers are too many. The need to merge some ministries should not be over emphasized.

If we are asking the IMF to come and tell us how to "cut cost", my question is, do we have cost accountants etc and why can't we tapped their knowledge? Those at the IMF, are humans like us and they are using their "brains", something that we have.

I am for a small and effective government than big and ineffective one. As we speak, our government is too big and ineffective and I wish the IMF will force the government to prune some "useless branches off the main tree" for the tree to grow well. How do we use 74% of our revenue to pay for salaries/wages and can the remaining 26% cater the rest of the economy? Who and what are we?

When Mahama assume office, he increased his salary to three times to that of Kuffour and Mills and that set the ball rolling for workers to demand more salaries and wages.

As a CEO, you do not increase salaries etc without looking into the finances of the company because that will invite a situation beyond control. Ghana is reeling under intense pressure because of the shallow-minded policies of our leaders. We need a leader who will think about cost. The Whites are thousands of years ahead of us because they are "cost minded".

So why cry now???
The e de bee k3k3 has been nurtured and it has blossomed and grown into a hydra-headed monster which is now threatening the very existence of our dear country called Ghana under this e de bee k3k3.
Elections have very serious consequences and very serious lessons need to be drawn from this intractable situation in which Ghana finds itself.
This issue is aside of the workers tier two pension funds which cannot be found anywhere on this planet and also the effect this directive would have on those currently in the employ of gov't.
The chickens have really come home hard, to roost under the e de be k3k3 Mahama NDC gov't.

You do not just keep increasing Salaries without any calculation behind it. I believe their background figures presented was full of errors that is why there is a capp. The capp will be based on comparing similar economies to our own.
