Yes the game in Africa had come a long way and nations that are not non for mastering the game in the past are now a force to recon with . And yes a team needs good preparation in order to do well in this competitions . But to dismiss the notion of a difficult group is simply preposterous.. And Good luck with your new job .

3. We know why we said players like Atsu and kwesi appiah shouldn't have been invited to afcon. They simply don't deserve to be there and you can tell by what they are doing on the field. Now you see, abi?
4. Counter Attack: on the ensuing counter, Ghana must do 3 things. A)release the ball thru the left/right Wingers with quick, 1,2/break and pass touches. This will open up the opponents. And then you can get the ball into the 18 box area to score or get penalties.
5. Partnership of awal and mensah at the rear is very good, cool and composed.
6. Glorious scoring opportunities don't come everyday..So when you get an opportunity to score. Think quickly of what you want to do before you waste the ball.

Unlike ghana corruption leaders and player haters. Ghana couldn't hold the ball and they played like a bunch of school kids without any leadership and experience on the field. Ghanaians have developed a mentality of driving away their best always. Don't worry Ghana, you will develop this boys and when they become your best, you will dispose and hate them because they would be getting a good pay from their club and someone from Ghana would start to treat them as if they are children and when they speak out their mind, He would brand them as disrespectful and arrogant then Ghana player haters will support the idea of axe them from the Ghana national team and start grooming another kids again and again and again!!!
The football competitions are for the best you have to offer not the Youngers you have!

It is not the coache's job to pay the boys. That is the job of the GFA and other administrators! You cannot blame AA if there is corruption in football

Our boys were too tired. I think this might be a blessing in disguise . It is actually a wake up call.
My concern though is this. Our officials have always had it wrong when it comes to camping and preparing our team for major tournaments. During the preparation for the 2014 World Cup, our team camped at the backyard of one of our rivals, the US, and they beat us for the first time in 3 games. This time around, they choose Spain . Why did our officials choose to camp the team in wintry Spain to prepare for a tournament being played in the sweltering heat of Africa? While other African teams were camping in other countries in Africa , we jetted off to Spain. Why? It looks like the whole team was flat and lethargic in the second half. Their conditioning was very suspect. And the heat took its toll on them. Mind you, all their trial matches were played in cold Europe. My question to our GFA officials is this: Why did out officials choose to camp the team in Spain? The team looked so tired in the second half. It is high time our officials are made to understand that preparing for a major tournaments is not an opportunity to take a vacation at the nation's expense. It is happening one too often.
Now to the game itself:
The team has to be taught how to take set pieces, especially corners properly. With the height disadvantage that we have , you can't balloon all corners towards our opponent's goal and wish for the best. We have to have a strategy.
I think the goalkeeper did not do too bad. We could keep him in other games to build his confidence. He however needs to be taught a proper way to deliver balls to his players.
