I thinks this is all on paper at this point, how do you implement these rules in an open market? Who is going to police and monitor these market women? Until we have a more controlled closed building, I am not sure how all the rules would be implemented. Even the government failed to safe guard the medical storage with millions of dollars of medical items stored in them, so I find it interesting that they think they can control markets. Well, let us wait and see the implementation of the new rules.

We will resist your nonsense decisions that favourise the previleges . Accra is our capital and remains as such. We will welcome infracturatures and good decisions, not fire shots from security madmen for the defense of fools. Accra is never New York !

How can you make any meaningful living in such a chaotic environment as we have in our villages, towns & cities across Ghana? How can you have a civilized society in which you build anyhow & anywhere, shit anywhere, eat anywhere, sell anywhere, park anywhere, piss anywhere, make noise anyhow & live anyhow? As long as you continue to be disorganized, as long as you disregard rules & regulations you can never make any decent living. This is the difference between civilized and uncivilized societies. Are Ghanaians worse than animals? After all, even in the animal kingdom there is some order.

the second abode is well organized and the people place the state before anything else. we think of self, self, self. the same people who cry social benefits and deserve social benefits are the same people looting the cofers. where do we get what to use the incentives and motivations. because we are poor does not mean we should do anything. a little bit of law and sanity in our system will go a long way to make Ghana liveable. everybody's efforts is needed - the least to the highest.

Whiles cows are roaming the streets of Accra you are rather preventing people from selling chicken at certain places. What about the Fulani cows filling the streets? I nearly crashed into a cow on the Korle-Bu road.
