Everything is not about export. Ghana needs more meat. China has more goats than Ghana. Worse, the Min of Agric has no clue about how to help the livestock sector

the chinese are known to eat anything that moves. if it can move, it will have to be eaten....ants, cockroaches, lizards, frogs, millepedes, worms, anything. so don't restrict it to goats.

How can you advise Ghanaians to rear goats for China just because you think it is the year of the goat. Do we evolve policy because of these things. When it is the year of the snake, would we rear snakes also?

Goat rearing takes no less than 6months, requires a lot of planning to have a successful venture and many more effort to have a secure buyer, not to talk of pricing, which may be quite high taking into account the escalating cost of local inputs. Spio should come again on this one.

All of you agents of corruption in the capital and other cities who call honest cocoa farmers names(kokoasefo), do you see the real picture now? All the youth in the cities without good jobs, put yourselves together and seek help from the gov, acquire large land and do something for yourselves. It is better to work for yourselves than to work for someone. If you are "men" do what men do, do what our brave grand fathers and mothers did, go to sea and battle the large unfriendly waves to bring fish for your countrymen or go to the wild forest and through hard work become rich.
