If the one you talked of is the same as the one I have in mind, then I am afraid allegations of corruption have been leveled up against him before; while the allegations might not be true,he apparently did not live a decent life enough to avoid such accusations. The other character is also said not to be without blemish in the denomination of the cedi. The allegation could be false but it meant he was not transparent enough in his work to have caused such suspicion. The two cannot therefore be said to clean unless these allegations have been investigated and they are cleared of them. "The African is corrupt through and through" Achebe in No Longer at Ease. This you must know and stop making noise and making judgement on issues you are not thoroughly informed on. That is not a mark of a good citizen

I can tell you that Bawumia was bribed to join NPP that he was not a member of,remember he and his family were part of the NDC but he broke that family ties to join the NPP.
He was bribed to join the NPP,it doesn't have to be money.
