Will Asiedu Nketia soon be wearing his wife's bra and underwear and panty-hose as well as high heels. From what we have read and glean from the story and picture, Asiedu Nketia and his wife have the same body frame, bust, size and height. Two bone to bones. The man knows he has goofed big time and has not only embarrassed himself but the country he purports to have represented. But instead of eating a humble pie, he will attempt to defend the indefensible as he cannot handle the truth in any circumstance.

Adwoa-Kwadwo Asiedua Nketiaa, what brain work did you go to do in Germany, besides suiting up for per diem and shopping? You are not cabinet minister and there is nothing you can do or sign on to oblige or bind Ghana in a contractual sense, so therefore your presence was not required. Purely this was a holiday and site seeing trip for you and you just sent the Ghanaian people the bill.

1) It's wrong for a man to wear ladies/women's clothes, shoes, wigs, earrings or wear a lipstick. I care less if you went there to "chat with Albert Einstein--a German--to pick up some few points from his extensive scientific knowledge, you shouldn’t wear a woman's coat or dress--regardless of the weather. Why didn't you (Nketia) match up your lady's coat with ladies high-heels winter boot to warm up your feet, too?

So, if you (Nketia) didn't know the difference, here it is: The buttons of ladies clothes are stitched to the LEFT, while men's clothes have the buttons stitched at the RIGHT. Do you get it, Negro? It's now cold here in the United States, but I shouldn't wear my wife's winter coat or boots to go to work.

But, importantly, you (Nketia) don't look all that good, so don't add up unwarranted stuff to your skinny frame, unattractive face and disorganized hair to disgrace Ghana abroad. How many of them in Ghana there know the difference between a male coat and female coat for them to be making fun of the man,how can we make ourselves so low like this talking about stupid things when important things are there to talk about,how can people like Franklin Cudjoe and Lawyer Ankomah go so low like that to talk about something like this,they don't know almost all of them when they travel abroad they look awful in their winter/summer clothes than those living here?

Even in Ghana where they live how many of them know what is suitable to wear in that weather let alone knowing what to wear in these temperate zones at a given time,is it not true that some of them travel to places like Florida in winter coats?

If we have a problem with his dressing we should address that to the embassy staff that did not tell them what kind of clothes to wear and for not getting them a different coat when they first saw them before they appeared in public.
How much is coat that they cannot just go out and get him one and was he the only one in those pictures that was not in the right outfit be it female or male outfit?
In winter you can wear anything that you lay hands on to protect yourself from the coat,if I'm outside without a coat I will wear a female coat if that is the only one available for me at that time.

For such an occasion, it would have made more sense for Asiedu to have borrowed a coat from an embassy staff than gone out and humiliated himself and the country. Mahama dresses smartly which is expected from a president and a government delegation. Unfortunately, the way one is dressed makes an impact on how he/she is perceived, if you dress up like Opia, the jaguar joker then no one takes you serious. By the way, what is the role really of a party chairman in visits like these – Asiedu is not a government official? It is all a way to collect per diem.
Asiedu, would do himself some good if he shuts up, so the issue would go away. He digs himself deeper in the hole by the silly explanations. He really looked bad in that coat.

Men’s shirts/coats have their buttons on the right side; women’s shirts/coats have their buttons on the left side.
For such an occasion, it would have made more sense for Asiedu to have borrowed a coat from an embassy staff than gone out and humiliated himself and the country. Mahama dresses smartly which is expected from a president and a government delegation. Unfortunately, the way one is dressed makes an impact on how he/she is perceived, if you dress up like Opia, the jaguar joker then no one takes you serious. By the way, what is the role really of a party chairman in visits like these – Asiedu is not a government official? It is all a way to collect per diem.
Asiedu, would do himself some good if he shuts up, so the issue would go away. He digs himself deeper in the hole by the silly explanations. He really looked bad in that coat.

On his way to his house the following morning, he decided to attend to nature's call and that he pulled down his trouser together with the pants to urinate. GETTING ALL INVOLVED – TOWARDS A MORE CREDIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE ELECTIONS – SOME SUGGESTIONS:
As a party polling agent in the 2000 National presidential and parliamentary elections and in the 2012 elections, I have observed certain developments at our polling stations with regards to the copies of the statement of poll and declaration of results form (or pink sheet as is known now) and this has led me to come out with certain suggestions to improve upon the credibility and acceptability of the final results.
For each polling station in the2012 presidential elections, the electoral commission (EC) provided copies of the statement of poll form or pink sheet for each presidential aspirant. This implies that there were eight copies of pink sheets for each polling station. At my polling station only the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC) had polling agents at the polling station and hence the six other pink sheets were kept by the EC and were thus wasted. I believe this to be the case in about 90 to 95 percent of the polling stations nationwide.
Based upon this fact I want to propose that extra copies of pink sheets be provided for certain organizations who will use them to compile their own results from the polling station through the constituency and regional to national. This is to ensure that other independent or neutral bodies apart from the EC and the political parties also compile their own results since all Ghanaians and not the political parties and EC alone have a stake in our national elections and the peace of our dear country.
I have three bodies in mind, namely:
1. The Christian Coalition – This involves all Christian groups like the Christian Council of Ghana, The Catholic church, the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Churches (GPCC), The Charismatic Churches association of Ghana and other Christian organizations.
2. The Islamic Coalition – This involves all sects of the Islamic faith
3. Civil Society Coalition – This involves all civil society organizations, organized labour, CODEO, traditional leaders and other NGO’S interested in the peace and tranquility of our country.
These groups I believe, can easily field one or two well educated and responsible polling agents across the length and breadth of the country. I also believe that they also have the financial clout to undertake a project like that. They will individually collate their own results so that the nation can have other credible sources of electoral data to fall on apart from that of the EC. Their results can also be used as a control mechanism to check those of the EC and Political Parties. This will also ensure that there will be other credible “Strong Rooms” apart from that of the EC.
I also wish to suggest that these groups will not just choose anybody to be their polling agents but rather choose very responsible and leading figures in their various organizations. For example the Christian Coalition may select clergy men or women like Priests, Pastors etc. or lay leaders like Catechists or Elders or Deacons as their polling station representatives.
I will further suggest that these groups will not have their national collation centers in Accra alone but will be spread to include Kumasi and Tamale. That is one of the groups will choose Accra to host their national collation center while the others will choose Kumasi or Tamale.
The constituency, regional and national collation centers of these groups should be in a well protected but open environment and results displayed on giant boards.
I suggest that these groups should each have a standing political committee which will be represented at IPAC. They should also publish online (on a web site they will jointly create or on social media) the names and corresponding polling stations of their polling station representatives at least three months to elections subject to change of course and should be allowed to vote during the special or early elections so that they can be moved from their original polling stations if the need arises.
The destiny of our nation and the activities at the polling station (the nerve center of our elections) should not be left in the hands of the EC and the Political Parties alone. All must be actively not passively involved in our polling station elections and the collation of the entire results.
With no political party interested in going to the Supreme Court to litigate the outcome of the 2016 presidential elections irrespective of what happens should be a source of concern to all of us and motivate us to act appropriately. With the refrain that there will be over 26,000 supreme courts in Ghana in 2016, that is there will be as many supreme courts as polling stations available gaining momentum, I will humbly urge all and sundry to give this suggestion the serious attention it deserves and take active part in the elections at the polling station.
Will this make any difference in ensuring free and fair elections at the polling stations and the subsequent transmission and collation of the electoral data? Can these groups be trusted to do a better job than the Political Parties and the EC? Well my simple answer as a Christian is this – if those who are expected (by divine mandate) to be light to a dark world and salt (or preservative) to a rotten society fails to deliver their mandate then ”die is cast” (Matthew 5: 13 – 16).
I hope that a day will come when Ghanaians will pray to God to guide them choose their leaders and not be so anxious about praying for peace before, during and after elections (Yes I know of Jeremiah 29:7). This is what I observed in the United States – I never heard of a prayer for peaceful elections but rather for Gods guidance in choosing a good leader (May be it’s because of their trust in the credibility of their elections). I believe Good leaders create an environment conducive for peace building.
I hope this suggestion will be fine tuned and brought on board in our quest to reform our elections and ensure a more credible and litigation free elections and hence a peaceful Ghana.
