Adwoa-Kwadwo Asiedua Nketiaa, what brain work did you go to do in Germany, besides suiting up for per diem and shopping? You are not cabinet minister and there is nothing you can do or sign on to oblige or bind Ghana in a contractual sense, so therefore your presence was not required. It is possible that Jerry did not collect his pay as head of state and also possible that friends paid for the education of your children abroad but not for free. They might have been given juicy contracts in Ghana for them to do so. There is nothing like free lunch. At least, it was a "quid pro quo" arrangements.

It is also far fetch to say that you were lecturing to use the money to contribute to your children's education abroad. That is unrealistic, to say the least. Again, you are not the founder of the 31st Women's Movement but you inherited it from the founders and was almost state funded or the state facilitated its funding.

Madam, it's better for you to keep quiet over such matters because being economical with the truth if subjected to scrutiny could expose you to ridicule. Give us a break.

Did you pay income tax on your income from lecturing? You see how vulnerable you could be with such concorted Kwaku Ananse stories? Ghanaians are not stupid, so please respect yourself before you become a laughing stock.

I just checked and it's still available for you to read. It was the accurate history of the Movement. I even checked my facts with one of the original founders who is in London just to make sure that I got all the names and details right.

As a staff who was not privy to many of the meetings that went on behind the scene before those ladies coming to say what they were doing I don't think you know if they were having those discussions with Mrs Rawlings before coming to the office.
These people you listed may have played various roles as workers for the formation of the movement and may have brought the idea but that cannot make them the founders of the organization,even apart from Gertrude Zakaria they were little known or not even known.

Before these people went to see then Chairman Rawlings you were not aware of what happened or who they were dealing with apart from those in your office,they may not have told you the truth and were not at the meetings especially the one you claim one Mrs Obinim went to ask Mrs Rawlings to take over the movement.
I don't think these people can just go to the chairman that late to tell him we have formed an organization which we want you to inaugurate in Burma Camp of all places just hours before the said inauguration and he will just follow them,if that really happened then he was already aware,that meeting was only a formality,the wife was involved and may have informed him about the formation of the movement,nobody can convince me that people went to the chairman that they have formed an organization in the name of the revolution which they planned to inaugurate in few hours and want him to inaugurate it for them,no way,that is not true,absolutely not.

Theses people you are talking about,the likes of Chris Atim and few others we all know them and know what led to their departure,they will say anything to support whatever is against Rawlings and the wife.
You didn't even say in your article how she got the tittle and you even didn't write in your article how they came by the inaugural date and the day and where they decided to make her the patron and when they inform her about it before the inaugural date,I believe she was very much involved and informed the husband about it.

You remember Konadu also claimed that she did not pay tax because she did not earn any income? That was during the time she tried to file her nomination form with the EC to contest the 2012 Presidential Election? That was one of the reasons why her nomination form was rejected. Now she is telling Ghanaians that in fact, she earned income from lecturing. That is what you are also doing but not all of us are fools. You and Konadu have the same thought processes.

You did not remember my article until I responded and pointed it out to you. Then you read it and now disputing it when as you yourself said, you were not there. Bravo.

I give credit to Konadu for nurturing the 31st WDM to what it is today because if she had not taken it over in 1982/83 it would have died a natural death but the fact remains that she is not the founder.

My parents and grandmother educated me in primary school and my uncle and his wife funded my secondary education but I also worked very hard so I was given bursaries in secondary school. My uncle and his wife again funded my sixth form education and first term at a university in Ghana. Then in 1982, I worked in one of the organ created by the PNDC for Ghana till I left Ghana in 1986 to continue my abandoned university education partly under Ghana government scholarship. I got Commonwealth Universities Association and the then UK Overseas Development Agency scholarship for postgraduate studies in the UK. I funded my last postgraduate studies at LSE from my own resources.
