First off, we do not live in an era of chaos and lawlessness that defines and defined Busia-Danquah heydays in the Ashanti and Akyem regions where brut force and anti-social activities reigned supreme. The A-G's office can only operate within a rather corrupt judiciary system and the slow grinding processes. Even when the A-G's office has secured a judgment against a person, there is a legal process to be used to collect monetary judgments. In the meantime the dishonorable MP seems to suggest that the A-G's office must not pursue any other prosecutorial tasks because that's how the non-thinking MP's go about work on behalf of the nation cashing in on outrageous wages and compensation packages. I ask because it seems most of the MPs don't know a fiddlestick of the laws in Ghana, yet they are voted. You are asking a whole AG to oversee a criminal case and think of money. For what I know, the money case was settled in court and I believe some people were charged to see to it that the money be retrieved, so it means the AG has played her part and left for those charged to do their job. Rape cases are really exceptional and must be dealt with all diligence. It doesn't matter if the victim I question is not interested in pursuing the case. So next time make sure you do your homework before you go on air
